The travel publication recently released a list of the 12 most beautiful lakes in the United States and included Echo Lake in New Hampshire.
Great little sandy beach for cooling off. Beautiful view of White Horse ledge and Cathedral Ledge. Nice short hiking trail around the lake.

This is a Tubing Center that supplies tubes kayaks etc.
However there are a number of access spots on river where you can swim and or put in your own tube, or kayak.
We have access to a private river beach across from Attitash Mountain. In behind Mattie B's and the Attitash Resort you will find a parking lot, and a short trail that leads to the Saco River. Be sure to wear old sneakers or water shoes, as the river rocks can be tricky. Seasonally, this river can be roaring. Use caution. *People with very small children may find Echo Lake more relaxing.
