The 7km lake to lake Channel Float is a must do summer activity in Penticton. The float starts at Coyote Cruises on Riverside Drive and slowly drifts from Okanagan Lake all the way down to Skaha Lake.
If you don't want to float the whole way, there is a mid-way stopping point at Green Mountain Road.
You are welcome to use your own floatie, there are no restrictions, but if you do not have your own then you can rent one at Coyote Cruises. They have everything from single tubes to 12-seater floating islands.
There are also shuttle busses, to bring you back to the start if you need to pick up your car afterwards.
