A very unique scene, kind of like the Badlands in South Dakota, but small and quaint so you can Embrace or be embraced by it!

this Trail is steep, but worth the climb, veer to the left at the Y, and have an overlook of Seven Falls area.

This is a nice hike with pretty views all along the way. when you get to the location you will have a descent and obviously as you leave you will have an incline, otherwise this trail is pretty easy. there is a $6 parking fee! although people do illegally jump there are many injuries every year, so enter from ground level only!

We have found a FREE trail, to the left just before the entrance to the Royal Gorge grounds that have a tourist trap fee. if you want to avoid this make a left to a picnic area and trail with bathrooms about half a mile to a mile. you may walk the whole rim of the Gorge up there for free, it is absolutely beautiful, enjoy!

there are many trails that the locals enjoy in this open space. but the one I advise takes you past the water. Park in the middle lot and climb a steep hill at the start, you will pass a dog Park and then you will need to Veer to the left. you should see the water shortly after, but if not enjoy the trail you find you, you can't go wrong in this lovely open space. but you can get lost so mind yourself on the trails!!
