This is a very beautiful spot, the flowers work is super nice, but recommendation to go early, since in the afternoon the shadows falls very harsh over it and you can’t take good pics after 3pm.

If you are passionate about poetry, follow the footsteps of Pablo Neruda and fall in love with this coastal town, where the incessant pounding of waves on the rocks are a constant inspiration for different artists. Treat yourself by visiting the eccentric house that the poet built by the ocean. Discover Neruda’s playful imagination through the interesting objects he collected during his life. Figureheads, world maps, boxes with strange insects, and masks of different shapes and origins are some of the treasures that give the residence a magical aura, now a museum. It is time to tour the sophisticated rustic-style Arts & Craft Fair, which brings together the best creations of local artists, many of whom are inspired by the omnipresent ghost of Neruda.

City/town information

Its a pretty big city but the sightseeing spot are very specific, some museums (the museum Fonck has a original Moai at the front), huge beach, the flower clock, the casino, the national botanical garden, Wulff Castle, Brunet Castle (in this moment not open to public) Quinta Vergara where the biggest music festival takes place every year in summer. Apart of what you can see... you can eat pretty good chilean food, see the restaurants and spots y recommend.

Valparaíso is a port city on Chile’s coast. It's known for its steep funiculars and colorful, clifftop homes. La Sebastiana, the quirky former residence of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, is now a museum with far-reaching Pacific views. During the 19th century, an influx of European immigrants left their mark on the city’s architecture and cultural institutions, many of which congregate around downtown’s Plaza Sotomayor.

For me one of the best restaurants to experience chilean dishes. Excellent quality, excelente prices and very big size portion. Even for the drinks! If you come to Chile you have to try the Pisco sour if you like citric and the Vaina y you like creamy and suit.
