Fun atmosphere for tacos, burritos, and the like. Love the pozole soup in the winter months. The pork tacos are my typical go-to.

One of our favorites. Great old building, nicely restored, with a variety of cool, custom-made tables highlighting the mining history of Wallace. I love the wedge salad with house-made bleu cheese dressing.

Their claim to "the best hamburgers in Wallace" (they are in nearby Mullan) has some merit. Plus, they have a "wanted" poster for "Eric the Kid" next to their front door that looks like me. Simple pub with simple pub food, but we enjoy it and enjoy making the 7 mile trip from Wallace to Mullan via bike on the Trail of the Coeur d' Alenes from time to time.

A fun 20'ish mile drive up and over a winding mountain road up 9 Mile Creek Road (over a low pass) to a cute little tavern with a friendly staff. Great view back down the pristine valley at the top of the pass. Pretty good food for a "tavern".

Fun little bar/restaurant about 15 miles from Wallace back towards Coeur d' Alene in Kingston. They've been renovating recently and the food is pretty decent "bar food".

Only reasonably reachable from Wallace in the summer months after Moon Pass to Avery is open (late May or early June). 25'ish miles of dirt road that is a very enjoyable ride if you like that back-country type of exploring. You'll probably want to be driving a sport utility type of vehicle. A simple menu of wood-fired pizzas and a few other items, but the pizzas are excellent. I was told the broasted chicken was excellent and shrugged it off -- but dang -- it was excellent.

Better food than I was expecting when I first tried it, given that it is a brewery. A good atmosphere where I've had some hits and a few so-so's on the menu, but never anything that just outright didn't cut it. A great option when coming off a day of skiing on Silver Mountain.

A cute little homey diner run by a couple of sisters transplanted from New Jersey a number of years back. Large menu of sandwiches -- fun to sit at the bar and watch them work the grill. Pretty solid all in all.

One of the iconic restaurants in Wallace with a fair amount of history. It has a nice bar vibe and atmosphere though I've found the food offerings a bit ordinary (it has changed owners/management several times in recent years). Worth a visit if you just want to grab a beer and aren't expecting a gourmet food experience.

Our favorite place to get a cocktail in Wallace and the only spot to get something that might qualify as a higher end craft cocktail. We enjoy the Old Fashioned (we slightly prefer the Rye variation to the Bourbon version) and Spicy Margarita in particular.

Pretty decent hand-tossed pizza. Their hours tend to be a bit irregular, but if you can catch them open, this is a pretty good option. I definitely prefer the thin crust option and recommend you specify that.
