The environmental park is only a 5 mins walk away from the studio apartment with beautiful walking tracks through the bush. Koala's are frequently spotted here and it also houses a very large group of fruit-bats: you can see them hanging off the trees during the days and if you are up for a bit more action, go around sunset when they all fly out for the night!

Koala's are frequently spotted here and it also houses a very large group of fruit-bats: you can see them hanging off the trees during the days and if you are up for a bit more action, go around sunset when they all fly out for the night!

Yugari DriveBest spot to overlook the mighty Pacific Ocean with views all the way to Kingscliff to the North and Byron Bay to the South (even from the comfort of your car as you can drive up the headland). This is also one of the best places to spot wales as they come very close to the headland and frequently put up a show!
The stunning Pottsville creek is only a 10 minute stroll on the beach from the apartment and is easy to see because of the rock wall. It is a great place for swimming with lots of shallow water areas for little ones to play. Also a great fishing spot!

Kayak hire at Hastings Point bridge. They are there most days of the week and easily spotted from the road as the trailer with kayaks is clearly visible. Best to go at high tide as the creek will be nice and clear.
