Best kebabs, mostly because their bread is so good. Made fresh every day and cooked right in front of you. Open late and perfect on the walk home from a night out.

Dublin's favourite Mexican burrito restaurant. The first place to kick burritos off in a big way in Dublin with their whopper sized burritos that are hard to finish in a sitting and the option of a burrito bowl to make saving leftovers even easier.

Irish ingredients, female head chef, unreal combinations for all courses and a setting in an old pub to die for. This is not pub grub, but it has a class atmosphere. Would recommend. Also Stoneybatter is nice

One of the first hipster cafes in Stoneybatter. This is a lovely little cafe that always has new cakes and menus. Teeny tiny with amazing brunch and the option of an afternoon snack. There's no need to cross the river to the south side these days...

This food market starts early Saturday mornings and you'd be amazed to see how many city goers flock for organic veg from McNally's before heading off to brunch. It's a food market so pick up olives, cheeses, fruit, veg, sausages, and treats.

Come to Dublin to get a custard tart that tastes like the ones in Portugal? Sure. This tiny shop also has tea and coffee as well, and are expanding to donuts and croissants. Tarts reign supreme in my opinion

We love the Korean bbq kimchi chicken wings. They are the perfect amount of spice with a little bit of sweet and sticky. They have great lunch deals and a cauliflower alternative for veges. Our preference is for take away to eat at the kitchen counter at home, maybe watching a match.

The local for Capel St. residents. This place is small and charming. There isn't much room inside, but plenty of outdoor space now. Wonderful little place for a quiet drink or for just enjoying the music. Weekend nights for a taste of Irish music without the insane prices of Temple Bar over the river.

Unique movie theatre in Dublin, shows the new stuff, but has runs of showing classics or does a run of showing movies from studios they like. A little more artsy of the studios, it makes sense that it belongs in Smithfield.

Sightseeing

You have to book this online at least a few days before you want to go as tickets sell out quickly. The museum is great and you can move around at your own pace and read about the history of Guiness, the family and about trade in Dublin as well. Finish with a Guiness at the top of the building with views out across the city.
