Not just a massive range of boutique beers all brewed on site of this family owned and run local pub. Also a fantastic restaurant on offer. Often live music and the best happy hour complimentary ploughman's platter in town! Just a few minutes walk from my place and Little Pom's cafe has recently opened next door.

Sightseeing

Historic Lyttelton is where the early European settlers first settled in Canterbury. This port town has an interesting history and despite losing several iconic buildings in the earthquakes, still has a lot of character and charm to offer. Explore early on Saturday mornings during the local farmer's market, local organic produce and live music. The Lyttelton Coffee Company has the best local coffee on offer roasted on site , and great cafe menu. Local beaches are just a short walk away, offering sheltered bays to swim. Stunning views of Lyttelton Harbour are on offer from both the main street or up the numerous walking tracks around the surrounding hills. Or catch the local ferry.
