Great chef, nice well stocked bar, good atmosphere. This is currently our favorite restaurant in the area. Everything we've tried has been good, but the ribs are our standout and the Shrimp and Cheesy Grits are my favorite.

Short drive across the lake Dillon Dam. The place is a historic landmark near the Dillon marina. Old-time cafe with walk-out bar downstairs. Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Dinner specials every night. You must try the trout and eggs for breakfast (my wife and I split it)!

Parks & Nature
The Mt Royal trail is one of the more challenging (non-technical) hiking trails in the area. You can go to the Mt. Royal peak and great a great overview of the entire Lake Dillon area. You can also continue on to Mt. Victoria, or Peak One in the Breckenridge mountain chain form this trail as well.

Put driving the Independence Pass in your car or on a motorcycle on your bucket list. This pass will take you from just over the ridge from Leadville all the way to Aspen (about an 85 mile ride from our condo).

Interesting collection of historic buildings from the early settlers in the area. Located in a beautiful little park just across the street from our condo complex. There are free concerts every Thursday evening in the summer as well as historic lectures.
