This is an indoor food market, filled with many high-end street food vendors, and special market stores (some are branches of famous stands in israeli markets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem). I recommend Basher cheese store, for example. Food can be taken outside to a close-by park. Take bus line number 1 towards Tel Aviv (10 min. ride) and drop off at Beyt Kalka station.

Getting Around
This is a good exchange area between buses from Ramat Gan and buses that ride into the city center:
Line 18 - A busy and important line. Gets you to Modern Art Museum, Ichilov Medical Center, Rabin Square, Dizengoff Center, Carmel Market, Allenby. Departs from the terminal lot, not from the side stop.
Lines 61/161 - Those would get you near the central beach strip, at Dizengoff/Ben Yehuda/Frishman streets. A matter of 25 min. from the apartment. Prefer changing one stop before Merkaz, at Bursa station.
Line 55 - Good for reaching the port area and the northern beaches - Drop off at Hayarkon/Yermiahu. Takes about 25 min. from the apartment.
All the above are frequent all day.

Note that the area is under massive construction (First metro line of TLV), so the traffic in and around it is baffling. To change buses between the bridge station (lines 1/40/140) and the other lines towards the city center, you need to walk the footpath around the dig site.

Watch out on the road, cycling is relatively new in TLV as a transportation method, and drivers may not see or ignore you. Take caution from buses and also other cyclists, many of them are texting. Oh, and don't ride on sidewalks, there's a new rule against that, including heavy fine for those who do.
