Essentials

Open to the public, the selection is limited but carefully chosen. Bread is baked fresh in the wood fired oven out back. Also a great deli! http://potsdamcoop.com/

Evans and White is a local hardware store where you can get a number of things you might need. Not as big as Lowes, but the prices are usually better.

Sightseeing

The church itself is beautiful, but the view up the Raquette River from the bridges is the best in town.

Drinks & Nightlife

In addition to being a pretty good restaurant, it has a bar with a good selection of beer and a deck looking out over the Raquette River. It caters to a wide variety of people but primarily college students after 9 PM when the universities are in session.
