This community park features a baseball field, playground for children and adults, tennis courts, and basketball courts. If you are into fitness, specifically calisthenics, you'll definitely love this park as it has pull-up bars, parallel bars, and other equipment to get a good workout in without a gym membership.
Makakilo Community Park is the heart of the town, with its basketball and tennis courts, activities center, wide open field and a playground that seems to be updated every few years. For outsiders, however, it's just another community park with one exception: the amazing nighttime views, from Kapolei to Pearl Harbor to Diamond Head, visible from nearby.

White plains is a one of my favorite surfing place in Hawaii. A great place for beginners as it's shallow and no large drop-offs. Waves are mellow and friendly for everyone that loves surfing. Usually it becomes onshore later so I would recommend to go there early in the morning or late afternoon to surf. It's a fun safe beach for family too! I would definitely recommend there to spend time with your loved ones.

White Plains Beach
White plains is a one of my favorite surfing place in Hawaii. A great place for beginners as it's shallow and no large drop-offs. Waves are mellow and friendly for everyone that loves surfing. I would definitely recommend there to spend time with your loved ones.
Best view of the beach. Very nice lagoons and clean. Good scenery. Parking is a hassle. Wish they had food trucks around. Other then that. Pack a big picnic

Shopping
Who doesn't love Wal-Mart. Being as this is one of the newer Wal-Mart on the island it is kept very clean! This is my go to Wal-Mart, unfortunately. Parking is not an issue, just don't expect to park near the entrance unless you're entering through the garden department. Even with a handicap placard it is difficult. So many people with those in this area. haha

Walmart
700 Ke’eaumoku StWho doesn't love Wal-Mart. Being as this is one of the newer Wal-Mart on the island it is kept very clean! This is my go to Wal-Mart, unfortunately. Parking is not an issue, just don't expect to park near the entrance unless you're entering through the garden department. Even with a handicap placard it is difficult. So many people with those in this area. haha

I particularly like the community activities and active security. There are tons of free shows that are pretty engaging for those interested in Oahu. Concerts, hula shows and Cinnabon. I’m very satisfied since the next best mall is nearly an hour away. (Ala moana also has Cinnabon:)
