Well...it's my place to congregate with Rutland's esteemed citizens! Thought twice about putting this on here, but know Matt and gang will welcome any friends of mine! Catch any and every sporting event on the many flat screens throughout the 'hole in a wall' venue (literally, one bar and a couple bathrooms - - that's it) or invest a competitive game of darts (league play is Monday night.) It's my go-to spot...whether one person or thirty, this place makes you feel at home; or helps create the sense of belonging. Tell Matt I recommended his dive...maybe he'll throw you a bone! Enjoy!

Park at the Long Trail Inn or across the street - - head of trail in the parking lot. Grab some French Onion soup or a Guinness after the hike in the original Irish bar located inside the inn.
