Astrid and Stephen’s place in the marina was an absolute gem. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly neighbour who so happened to be Stephen who showed us to our unit, and helped us check in. Though it rained for much of our visit, the views were still stunning—peaceful, calming, and a perfect escape. The home itself was pristine and full of charm, clearly cared for with thought and love. Every little detail made it feel like a true retreat. We flew in for my son’s hockey playoffs, and the location couldn’t have been better—an easy and scenic trip to and from the arena. In fact, we loved it so much that we added two extra nights to our stay instead of touring to Victoria. No regrets! The local touches were a highlight—morning walks for fresh sourdough bread from Grain, amazing local wines at nearby restaurants that we walked to for a few lunches, dinners and a stop for some delicious tubs of local ice cream that we stocked up on! Grateful.

A clean and cozy suite. Close to village and the lake. I really enjoyed my stay at Nicolas.. I hope to come back in the summer!!

This place is a gem if you are looking for peace, quiet, and to be away from the hubbub of city life. The view is serene with regular ferries passing by.

A wonderful stay in an absolutely stunning location! The photos and description are perfectly accurate, and the place is wonderful to spread out relax or use as a homebase while visiting Sidney. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and stocked full of amenities, and the kitchen is very functional with a great open room and beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Victoria is about a 25 minutes drive away (depending on traffic) but the suite is close to many amenities including stores, restaurants, the Victoria Airport and the ferries to Vancouver. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

"The Carriage House" is a lovely apartment next to the owner's beautiful home. It is extremely well equipped with a nice separate bedroom and comfortable bed and welcoming living room. There are all the amenities you could desire and more! It is a nice restful area in the woods and a short drive to both Crofton and Chemainus. Denise was very friendly and helpful. She always responded rapidly with any questions we had. A plus is the private deck and BBQ outside. We would return if needed and happily send our friends !

This is a wonderful place to stay. Adrianna is an outstanding host. I would come back any time again. Five well deserved stars all around. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Rebecca's. She was responsive to any queries and made it easy! The kitchen was well stocked with a good supply of staples ~ which is always helpful when staying a few days.

Beautiful quiet home. Big sunny deck lots of chairs and space for all 6 of us. Enjoyed the bbq. Private beach access. Modern clean cabin. Very comfy beds. Kids loved the bunk beds. Awesome to have access to a washer and dryer. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s bigger than the pictures show. Would love to come back. Highly recommend.

Julie is a wonderful host! The place is beautiful and exactly as pictured/described. Clean, free of clutter but still with enough furniture to be comfortable. I stayed for an extended period of a month and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Julie was accommodating and an excellent communicator. Very quick responses, and provided us with anything we needed during our stay. Cowichan Bay is a beautiful area and the house is tucked away on a quiet dead end street but still only a short walk to the beach which my children loved. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay & was very reasonably priced. The pull down couch was very comfortable as was the bed in the bedroom. Having in suite laundry was also very convenient. Overall would highly recommend! You won't regret your stay in the beautiful Cowichan Valley at Julies oasis!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The photos truly don’t capture how stunning and comfortable the space is. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The decor is tasteful and elegant, with a deck offering spectacular views that we enjoyed during peaceful sunsets. Our kids were thrilled with the cozy loft area, which gave them their own special space to relax and play. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stylish, peaceful getaway with all the comforts you could want!

Gavin's place was great for our family gathering of 7 plus a dog. It was very well stocked and comfortable. I enjoyed getting out on one of the paddleboard!

Lex's place was exactly what we needed. We were traveling for a rowing regatta. It was clean, very comfortable and close to wonderful things. We could hear the kids upstairs but it was no big deal. We spent most of the 4 days at the event but had some racing delays due to wind and I was able to go on a few quick hikes nearby. It was a lovely stay.

What a stunning place! The place is spotless we enjoyed alll the features to spend the best holidays we deserved. We love the nature and the place is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Hosts are friendly snd helpful with questions and were always there when we need help with our vehicle problem. . Easy to respond! Will recommend and come back! 5 star!

Marian's place was absolutely beautiful , very well furnished , great supply of coffee, teas and breakfast options . Very close to local shops and amenities , transit also just around the corner . I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting this part of the world

stayed at 201 for our daughter's wedding. Everything from check in to check out was flawless. The amenities provided were above and beyond and exactly as described. Our hosts made our experience stress free and easy to manage. I would highly recommend staying at the 201.

Me (50s), Mom (80s), and Auntie (70s) stayed at Denise's place for 4 days at the end of January. It was PERFECT! The unit is beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable beds and sofas, PLENTY of storage with flat surfaces & baskets to put things, enough plugs, extra towels and blankets, a cook's kitchen, easy access to parking and our car. The location is peaceful and pretty, awesome pool & hot tub with a VIEW, nice grounds with rabbits & eagles, and a quick drive to parks/trails. The few people we ran into were very kind and friendly. Denise was super responsive and helpful. We HIGHLY recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Inn of the Sea! Debbie's suite was beautifully furnished and decorated, the bed and sofas were comfy, and we loved the loft style architecture of the townhouse with skylights and tall ceilings. The partial oceanview was also lovely. We enjoyed the amenities offered, like the communal hotub and BBQs (but a set of BBQ metal tongs or flipper weren't found within the suite unfortunately). The only minor con was noticing the outdoor spaces (main and smaller decks) weren't cleaned; the leaves and dirt should've been swept and the tabletop needed wiping too. Once my husband cleaned it, the deck was more inviting and enjoyable. Overall it was a nice place to stay, with lots to explore between Nanaimo and Ladysmith.

The view from the large windows is amazing and we enjoyed seeing sea otters swimming around. On the beach right in front of the resort, we saw lots of star fish, anemones, and crabs. Some kids caught us 2 large crabs for dinner! We weren’t expecting the pool to be open in April, so being able to use it was a pleasant surprise. My son also loved the on-site playground and all of the toys in the bench. We liked the rural feel of the area which made it feel peaceful.
