Heather and Gary’s place was fantastic. Better than we expected. Complete privacy but hosts always responsive. Great neighbourhood, convenient to get to all surrounding areas, close to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Everything we needed was provided. Super easy check in and check out. Highly recommend!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the loft. It was very tidy and had all the needed amenities. It was a great location, very close to Coronado beach and only about 15 minutes from downtown. Merete provides clear instructions for check in and check out making it go very smoothly. There was also a house manual with lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do! We enjoyed a recommended yoga class and it was great! Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved this cottage. It is just as the pictures and description states. We could not have asked for a more thoughtfully stocked home. The location is wonderful. It is within walking distance of the beach, tons of restaurants, and shops. The neighborhood feels very safe. We would stay here again.

Debbie’s place was perfect for our family! It’s definitely small but the beautiful patio in the front and rear gave us plenty of space to spread out. Having the beach one and a half blocks away was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Shower was great. Debbie had bikes for us to use and was super friendly and accommodating. Our 13-year old daughter said, “ this is my favorite Airbnb ever!” We hope to come and stay with Debbie sometime again in the future!

Quite and peaceful location. Easy drop down from her hilltop location to the freeway. Clean and cute place. Great communication. Enjoyed my stay!

Such a charming stay! This tiny house is a hidden gem nestled in a beautiful backyard with stunning mountain views. The space is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed — the full bed was super comfy, and having appliances made it feel like a tiny home, not just a room. The surroundings were peaceful, perfect for a morning coffee or evening unwind. The host was fantastic — welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique, relaxing escape that blends nature, comfort, and great hospitality!

We loved loved loved this place! The studio bungalow is a great place for couples or solo traveler, especially if it’s your first time in San Diego. We would definitely book with Bluffside again. PROS: - Walkable to main parts of OB, sunset cliffs, great restaurants and the ocean - Amenities: laundry, hot tub, appliances - Host: Richard was so accommodating and responsive we appreciate his attentiveness to our needs - Privacy and peacefulness and in the neighborhood CONS: - just be aware it is street parking and you WILL get ticketed if you accidentally park in restricted spots. - size: the studio felt cramped at times, but it is good for just two people but in the future we would prefer booking at a larger Bluffside property

Amazing Place, Amazing Location just steps from the Mission Beach Sand, and most Importantly an Amazing host. My Girlfriend left some clothes, and she was able to figure a way out to get them back for us in just 20 minutes! Cheers

This place was just perfect for our spring break trip! Our family of four was perfectly comfortable in the house, which is just as lovely as the pictures. We loved spending our mornings relaxing on the patio before driving to one of the nearby beaches for the afternoon. Every evening we found a great restaurant within walking distance (thanks to Lauren for the helpful recommendations) and caught the sunset at the pier. We definitely look forward to our next visit!

Our stay was exceptional! The stylish Casita has everything you could ever want, allows you to grill or cook as you like, as well as being on the doorstep of a charming Village, with plenty of restaurants and charming shape to explore. Just 20 mins from the beach, Amy is an exceptional host. We’d absolutely stay here again - thank you Amy for a perfect trip to San Diego with our beloved pooch!

The neighborhood near parks, though part of many blocks of tiny businesses & residential with dogs, was so quiet day and night.Barely a sound heard.The one drawback was the skylight, unable to be shut out at all & the room darkening shade was on one window in the “living room” space & not on either private patio or entrance doors. To be clear, this is one space.If you are an “up with the dawn” person, this is wonderful, surrounded with natural light.If you like to sleep in on your vacation, bring a sleep mask & a back up sleep mask (as the local CVS/Target sell very few & those are $8-$10).The studio space works well, space to hang clothes & a large dresser.The bed/ding was cozy, softer than home’s firm bed.Bathroom was small/good lighting.I’d keep the door open to the main room otherwise the bathroom got quite cold. Kitchen request or others w/Hosts were responsive w/in 2hrs or less. Best reason?Getting hugged by Wally.12/10 would hug this dog again so sad I didn’t get one pic of him

This house is heaven on earth. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Mike is also so incredibly nice. If you like modern bland houses, this is not the place for you. If you appreciate craftsmanship at its finest, antiques, art and the most beautiful landscaping you’ll love it!

This will definitely be our go-to place when we travel to CA to visit our daughter! Michael was great--very responsive to every question I asked, quick to address any issues (which weren't really issues, just me not being able to figure something out), and extremely personable and friendly. The kind of person you want to be friends with! And the place was awesome! I can't decide which to mention first, the amazing bed, spectacular bathroom and shower, or the Alexa controls. My husband has a bad back that is so painful it's hard to get out of bed in the morning. After one night in this amazing bed, my husband woke up pain-free. I looked up the bed and it is quite pricey, so if a good night's sleep is on your "must" list for an airbnb, you simply must sleep here! The patio is fantastic--very inviting & peaceful, and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drink. It is clear in the description there is no kitchen, but there is a little fridge, microwave & Keurig. Perfect!

Great experience, great location. It's on a main street so it's busy with traffic, at times. Not a bad thing, but just something to point out. The front is private and gated from the traffic by a beautiful and inviting area to lounge and hang out with our pups. Lovely home with all that we needed during our stay. Great host and super responsive! Would love to stay again!

The space was clean and matched the description and photos. As someone sensitive to light, I requested a blackout shade, and the hosts thoughtfully provided a portable one before my arrival. I really appreciated the thoughtful gesture—it made a big difference in the quality of my sleep. Having breakfast in their beautiful backyard while listening to the birds and passing trains was pleasant. The couch was perfect for lounging and relaxing. The lighted path at night was a helpful touch, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable! Todd and Natalie were considerate hosts.

We loved our stay here! From the moment you walk in the front door, you feel relaxed. The thoughtfully chosen decor, the incredibly well stocked kitchen, the outdoor space, the super comfy beds...it all makes for a perfect getaway! Alicia was so helpful giving directions, responded very quickly, and was very flexible when we asked to check in slightly early. We were lucky enough to get some fresh eggs and herbs, which was such a special touch! You can tell how much care and thought has been put into this place, even down to the hand soap and shampoo/conditioner. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

Evan was a great host very friendly, helpful, and proactive. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, which we really appreciated. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The description of the apartment and parking was clear and accurate, making everything smooth and easy. We truly felt at home and would absolutely book this place again. A solid 5 out of 5!
