Fantastic location. Clean and great for group traveling together. Lots of space.

We were particularly impressed at your thoughtfulness in leaving a welcome basket. Apart from the initial slight difficulty in access at the gate, once we had the fob, all was well. The showers were really good with a strong flow of water. Also, we were lovely and warm. The private parking was very useful. The flat is situated near the station, restaurants and takeaways and with easy access to the city centre. We would love to stay again should we return to York.

A great place to stay, the check in was seamless, the flat matched the description and our expectations. The location is spot on and within easy reach of all amenities and sights of interest. The easily accessible secure parking is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the appartement. Great for a weekend trip. Is on the ground floor and has a step free side entrance that’s accessible for wheelchair users. Lovely location next to the river. Would definitely stay again!

From the booking to the final departure, Clare was friendly and professional, the perfect host who made our stay enjoyable and easy. The flat was in a great location. Sainsbury’s is moments away, the city walls are not much further and its lofty position affords a great view. The flat itself is modern, neat and thoughtfully decorated and equipped - and the parking is secure. We loved York, Clare’s flat was the perfect base and Clare was personable and helpful throughout. No hesitation in recommending.

Fantastic place! We are a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. Whitby, for fossil hunting, it’s just 1 hour away and York 1/2 hour away, the location couldn’t be more perfect. On the way to Whitby you go past moor land so great if you are on a walking holiday. Also the nearby town has great restaurants. We’ll be back!

We booked very last minute and received response re booking and checking in within minutes. Check in is with key box by the door only thing I would say is all the other key boxes have the number on the outside but this one is blank and the number is inside the flap. Anthony kept in touch during our stay with messages. The apartment was in The Bay where we have stayed before and we found it to be comfortable and quiet for a few days break away. The bed was very comfortable with good bed linen and the rainwater shower in the bathroom was very good. The little welcome pack of tea bags coffee 2 biscuits and small washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet, jey cloth and sponge was a useful addition. The apartment is minutes away from the main road from Bridlington to Scarborough(no road noise at all in or outside the apartment) and is very convenient for exploring the east coast or Yorkshire wolds. Filey is about 5 to 10 minutes drive away. Thanks Anthony we had a really nice break away.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and quiet. All the things we look for in a property. The groceries left for us were very welcome.

Beautifully appointed with a lovely relaxed feel. It was nice and clean throughout and we felt at home straight away. The double bed was amazingly comfortable as was the sofa. The hot tub was well maintained and we used it throughout our stay and the wifi was fast. Having the pub so close was very handy and it was great to have the garden center right next door. An ideal spot to walk the Trans Pennine Trail. One warning for those wanting to use public transport, the local buses do not stop at the site and you will have to walk from one of the villages either side. Melanie was very quick to get back to us on a query we had which was so helpful. We have had a fabulous time away in a home from home and would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely family weekend in this beautiful, comfortable house. The kitchen was well-equipped, the welcome basket was a nice touch. All the information we needed was there. This was a fabulous location for exploring York, and a great place to spend time together.

First time booking through airb&b, lovely house very clean and welcoming. Home from home feel as soon as you enter, great selection of toys and games to keep the kids entertained also a nice little welcome hamper was lovely on arrival. A lovely stay in fantastic accommodation! It was exactly what we were looking for and made a perfect base for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area. Check-in was smooth, everything was spotlessly clean, and the communication from the hosts was excellent—including thoughtful local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

Fantastic house with lots of space for a grown up family of 4. It was a little tricky to find but the instructions were excellent which helped. We loved the location. I would recommend this place to stay for those wanting explore York on foot. The description mentioned two parking spaces (we only had one big car) but we were asked to only park inside the garage on the arrival day. There was a table in the other advertised parking bay. Our car did fit in but with probably 2 inches clearance per side at the entrance of the garage. However, once in it was lovely to know the car was secure for the duration of our stay. The crockery and cutlery was not clean, we didn’t report it but instead put the whole lot in the dishwasher ( plenty of tablets provided) and headed out to the nearby pub. I think this was more from the previous visitor but maybe the cleaning team should have checked. Also there was some underwear left in one bedroom when we arrived.

This beautiful apartment is just a short walk from the heart of York. We will definitely be staying again.

We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

Apartment is superb and in an ideal location to explore the sights of York. The host was easily contactable if required and all instructions were clear and concise. Overall, this apartment and host is highly recommended

Beautiful annex fully equipped and everything you need. Area is gorgeous, fantastic walks on the door step. Lots of wild flowers and wildlife. Peace and quiet. John and Lindsay are fabulous hosts. Very helpful with nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend Goose Lodge!

Really great stay, apartment was exactly as listed an was perfect for a famil stay over the weekend. The rooms had air con which made a big difference comfort wise. Location was great, an easily walkable into the centre, with great views of York Minster. All instructions and interactions with Rebbeca were great. Would happily recommend this for someone looking to stay!

Marian was a wonderful host, being flexible and giving good instructions. We loved the neighborhood that was very calm and friendly. The apartment was super clean and spacious and the perfect place to relax after sightseeing. We recommend!

Fantastic apartment within easy walking distance to York city. Richard met us on our first day, and we were able to check in sooner too. Excellent off street secure private parking.
