Located at the top of Scotland you'll enjoy one of the best views in the area - even the locals are envious! One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

We offer a unique experience that sleeps 2 individuals (either superking or separate twin bed options) in a spacious, open-plan layout with additional internal bathroom and an outdoor eco-friendly compost toilet. This luxury bespoke shepherd's hut was handcrafted on site and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The exclusive electric hot tub is covered with a custom made wooden shelter for ultimate privacy and shelter from the Scottish weather. The sole hut is located in a small private paddock at the back of our farm in the village of Banton. With WiFi, smart TV, fridge, induction hob, microwave with oven, electric shower and hot water you can enjoy glamping without sacrificing your daily must-haves.

'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
