We love this place and felt very at home. Hot shower, comfortable beds, heating and all the modern appliances we needed with full kitchen. Anzelika has thought of everything and there was nothing we could suggest to improve her place, it’s just perfect.

We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

This is not a house, it’s a home. It has everything you need for the family to be comfortable right from the moment you arrive with something for everyone. Standout for the young children a fab garden with an awesome trampoline. Standout for the adults space and comfort to totally relax. What takes it from great to exceptional are the thoughtful touches …… and there are a lot but it’s most of all the welcome and hospitality of Kay our host who kept in touch to make sure all was well and gave us brilliant tips on where to go suitable for each of our parties needs. La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

As soon as we saw the views we knew we had to book and we were not disappointed! The views and accommodation are as per photos and we felt right at home! We had everything we needed in the property and in Johnshaven itself! We had a lovely meal at The Anchor Hotel, which we’d recommend, as well as a delicious ice cream at the hidden tea room! We hope to return in the near future!

Neil’s place was absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and joy to be in after a long day exploring the highland. The location is ideal. Communication was excellent, helping us on how to get into inverness and lots recommendations. Thanks a lot for a brilliant weekend.

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Beautiful location and gorgeous surroundings to explore - Achmelvich beach not to be missed

Well appointed two bedroom,two bathroom apt. Large living room with huge new tv. Kitchen had everything needed. She had coffee and tea for her guests. Bus outside her place directly into center city evert 12-15 minutes. My adult children frequently walked. Samantha was very responsive on messages.

Very modest price for 3 nights at Easter. Dog friendly - she loved it! A sunny spot and a nice base to explore the area

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

Excellent stay in a lovely house in the middle of Crail. The village is fantastic and it was brilliant to bring my family ‘home’ for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay at Dean´s lovely and cosy apartment. We enjoyed stunning sea views not only from the living room, but also from the kitchen. Cooking with a view so to say, which was a great experience. Dean was the perfect host. He and his family gave us a warm welcome and many helpful recommendations for family activities around town and in the countryside. We were travelling with our little daughter of 20 months and were glad to find full sleeping equipment and toys to play with at the beach and in the apartment. We would love to come back next time.

We had a great couple of nights at Caroline’s place. St Monan’s is peaceful and beautiful. The flat was very clear and well equipped, and very close to everything we needed. Excellent stay. Will be back.

Nick is a friendly and courteous host. His Airbnb is a nice quiet enclave tucked away in Banff for passers by. The accommodation is very clean and safely located, behind a locked gate off the Main Street. Would happily come back here again if I were to be in Banff.

We loved our 4 nights stay at Doodles Den - Jackie and Carole were great hosts and even left a card and chocolates for my birthday! The house is really cosy and warm, with so many thoughtful touches and we lucked out on the weather and enjoyed sitting in the shared garden opposite the house, too. The harbour is only a short walk away and we enjoyed walks along the Fife Coast and even a bracing dip in the tidal pool! We also did our trip just using public transport - the house is only 5 minutes walk from the bus stop with regular buses to Edinburgh and St Andrews and along the coast. Highly recommend a stay at Doodles Den!

Fantastic location overlooking the bay, with the most spectacular scenery and views to the mountains. Shona was a very responsive, accomodating and friendly host. The cottage was so homely, clean and peaceful, we didn't want to leave. We were even spoilt with warm and sunny weather in October and had a very close encounter with a pod of common dolphins on a boat tour with North Coast Sea Tours from Lochinver harbour. We enjoyed walks in Culag Woods down to the sea and up onto the moors on the Little Assynt Estate with more stunning views of the mountains as well as a lovely walk over to Ardvreck Castle on Loch Assynt. We saw many dragonfiles, lots of birdlife, including birds of prey and stonechat by the cottage and lots of mosses and lichens in the woodlands giving an otherworldy feel. Enjoyed learning about the geology of the area at Knockan Crag on route to the cottage too. A very special couple of days that we won't forget. The highlight of our holiday in the highlands of Scotland.
