Casa Luisa was incredibly clean and comfortable! I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Beate was kind, warm, and very proactive in communicating with me about the check in, my inquiry about extending my stay, and instructions about check out. You can tell immediately when you walk into Casa Luisa that it is a well cared for home, not just an Airbnb. There is a pride of ownership here and it was a wonderful treat for us. A pro tip: Pizzeria Italiana Madia (just downstairs outside the front gate) has incredible pizza! Casa Luisa and Madia are a match made in heaven 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well appointed Appartment overlooking the fishermen's harbour. The weekly cleaning service was appreciated and the apartment left spotless each time. We were glad of the double glazed windows when three hurricanes arrived during our visit, one so severe as to sink a large yacht in the harbour and bring down many mature trees. Despite the wind and torrential rain over several days we were cosy and warm inside - with an excellent safe viewpoint to watch the elements do their worst. The beds are comfortable, and having the two bathrooms was particularly useful as I had salmonella poisoning during our stay, spending a day at the local hospital being treated as a day patient. After my discharge, it truly felt like coming 'home', so I was able to relax and recover in comfort. We would happily return to this apartment if we come back to Setubal, it is very convenient to the Livermento market, and many excellent restaurants with convenient parking

El apartamento está muy bien. Es cómodo, agradable, bonito y en general tranquilo. Tuvimos un problema con la cafetera y a las pocas horas nos la cambiaron, siempre estuvieron pendientes. Algo que me gustó también es que el piso tiene persianas, importante si como a mi, te gusta dormir a oscuras. Para mi, la cama era algo blanda, pero entiendo que es cuestión de gusto personal. Sería de agradecer una cajonera en el dormitorio para poder guardar la ropa ya que si vas unos cuantos días sería más cómodo poder deshacer la maleta. Por lo demás, estuvimos muy a gusto en el alojamiento. Y está genial tener el parque de Bonfim allí mismo!!! Gracias!

Amazing place for short or long term stay (we've stayed for 1 month). The location is quiet and there is a lovely cafe 3mins away. If working remotely - the internet is very fast (750Mbps). The hosts are very friendly and responsive, the hospitality is top-notch!

Great flat in an awesome location. We felt right at home and enjoyed the stay. The apartment is well equipped and modern decorated. Couch could be a little more spoofed - you sink in . Also the bed is a little small for two , but that’s just because we use to sleep in a more larger one. Everything you need is close by. All in all a great experience and recommended for a short stay in Setubal.

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß für uns zwei. Die ist sehr sauber und es gibt alles was man braucht. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Die Lokation ist sehr gut. Zu dem Einkaufszentrum Auchan kann man zu Fuß laufen. Es dauert 8 Minuten. Zum Zentrum mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten, da wir Auto haben. Zu Fuß 10 Minuten. Wir haben hier einen sehr angenehme Aufenthalt.

It is a lovely place to stay and a good walking distance to the city center as well as the beach. Can definitely recommend the place and perfect also to park a car in front of the house.

Very kind host ! Always responded. We had to change the time of arrival last minute due to an emergency and he was so accommodating. Parking on street was a little full some times but we always found a spot.

A casa é lindíssima, tudo funciona perfeitamente bem. Tivemos apenas um problema, no último dia a água quente falhou e não voltou até nossa saída. Infelizmente neste dia o host não respondeu prontamente como de costume e a solução apresentada não funcionou. Porém considerei esse problema algo pontual, uma vez que a casa era maravilhosa e tudo funcionou muito bem. Portanto creio que tenha sido uma situação isolada e não deixei que isso influenciasse no mew review no geral. Recomendo a casa e voltaria tranquilamente. Tudo foi muito bem apresentado, a casa é moderna, super limpa, banheiro excelente, chuveiro perfeito, meus passageiros amaram.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Marc’s place. The house is exactly as shown in the photos – beautifully decorated and thoughtfully restored – but the surrounding atmosphere and views go far beyond what you can expect from pictures alone. The house has a charming rustic character that reflects a deep respect for its original architecture. Every detail feels authentic and carefully preserved, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that makes you feel at home. Liuba and her husband are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They keep the house in immaculate condition, spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. It’s clear they take great pride in the space, and it truly shows. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene escape with character, comfort, and outstanding hospitality :)

This is an amazing home, completely private, great amenities like very large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large living room with dining table for 8 people, fire place and large patio with fruit trees and chairs to really enjoy the outdoors. Great location, just next to the castle where we enjoyed several beautiful sunsets and even had dinner at the castle restaurant. We were greeted by Doris which is a delightful person, we had several conversation and shared coffee together. Without a doubt, an excellent experience. We’re returning soon.

La casa de Cristina es fantástica sobre todo porque Cristina es su anfitriona. Ella estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento solucionando cualquier problema que se pudiese presentar y eso da una gran tranquilidad, sobre todo cuando viajas en familia con personas mayores y niños como era nuestro caso. Tuvimos un problema con la cocina y llegó al instante para solucionarlo. Incluso con la obra que hay al lado, estuvo pendiente en todo momento de que nos molestase lo menos posible. La casa es tal cual está descrita y se ve en las fotos. No es una casa nueva, pero está muy cuidada. La casa estaba muy limpia y sobre todo la cocina impecable y con todo el menaje del mundo. Es una casa perfecta para 10/12 personas. En la planta baja hay una habitación de 2 camas y arriba tres de matrimonio y dos pequeñas con camas nido. La piscina perfecta y la playa de al lado preciosa, llegas en 5 minutos caminando. Se pueden aparcar dos coches en la entrada y alrededor hay sitio para más.

A estadia foi muito agradável. A casa é fantástica, com todas as comodidades necessárias e muito confortável para estadias maiores. É localizada numa zona bastante tranquila, muito perto da praia e de bons restaurantes. O Paulo foi sempre muito prestável e atencioso. Recomendo, sem dúvida.

Had a great stay at Luis’ place! Was able to work remotely and had great WiFi. The sushi restaurant below is a hidden gem. 5 ⭐️! Highly recommend this place.

Wir hatten alles, was wir gebraucht haben :) Ricardo war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen, nachdem vor und nach uns niemand in der Unterkunft war, konnten wir den Check-In/Out auch ganz nach unseren Wünschen verschieben! Alles war sauber und die Ausstattung war genau wie beschrieben. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super! Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig, die Nachbarn machen allerdings meist nur tagsüber Geräusche, nachts mit geschlossenen Fenstern ist es sehr ruhig. Wir würde wieder kommen :)

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön! Die spektakulären Sonnenuntergänge, schönen Spaziergänge in der Gegend und die Ausflüge nach Sesimbra waren so toll. Ich kann nur schwärmen, wie unglaublich diese Gegend ist. Die Unterkunft bietet einen sehr schönen Ausblick in ruhiger Lage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und tolle Restaurants sind auch in der Nähe. Nach Lissabon sind es mit dem Auto ca 40min auf einer angenehmen Strecke. Viele atemberaubende Strände sind nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Elisette war eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat auf alle Anliegen super schnell reagiert und immer geholfen, egal wie klein das Problem auch war. Ihre Empfehlungen sind auch super. Ich kann jedem nur einen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft ans Herz legen, es ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! ☀️🐚

This was our second time staying in sesimbra, it's a beautiful town, beautiful. beach and lots of lovely local restaurants. we were delighted with the apartment, spacious bedrooms, and living area. The pool is super and the games room a great asset. Only small criticism is the kitchen would benefit from better/fresh cleaning products, the sponges were old/used sweeping brush wasn't great, and the hoover was low performing. We like to keep the house clean each day. Everything else about the apartment is super, lots of towels, big tv, great wifi. We would recommend!

Patricia was an incredible host. She explained everything we needed to know about how to navigate the building, and the various exits to the beach and street, etc. The location was fabulous. Incredible beach. Lovely place. The only thing was that the shutters rattle quite wildly at night, when the wind picks up. I recommend keeping them up or else very hard to sleep. If she had some curtains that would perhaps be nice, as we wanted to block out the 6am sun, but on the other hand, with a view like that, there is a lot of incentive to get up at 7am!!

we loved our stay at Tiago's property overall. there were minor hiccups (checking in was a little difficult, but luckily our Uber driver was able to translate and help, after that smooth sailing). The apartment has the most incredible view, breathtaking, stunning. it is walkable but not as fun with little kiddos, there is over 140 stairs going up and down to the beach. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. There was a concern for dresser that fell over, luckily my child was mildly injured, and I do believe they will take care of it soon. we initially planned to stay for 9 months, but we didn't just love Tiago's property, we fell in love with Sesimbra and decided to stay long term (so we had to find a more permanent living arrangement). I have already recommended his property to family and friends and will stay here in the future. Muito obrigada Tiago

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.
