Adrian was such a friendly and approachable host. Was extremely helpful in ensuring I had breakfast outside of the breakfast time. As a lone guest he really made me feel at ease. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again.

We cannot fault our stay here, it did exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet in an amazing location and the animals sealed the deal. Arnie was amazing and took time to explain about all the animals and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be coming back when the animals are roaming. I miss the cats already!!

Sharon accommodated us very last minute & made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is quite small, but the location is really lovely, on the edge of the Peak District. Lots of walks and lovely pubs nearby.

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Het is een geweldig huisje, brandschoon en rustig gelegen aan de rand van Buxton., Marie is een fantastische gastvrouw; heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanuit het huisje zijn er meerdere routes te bewandelen, naar mooie dalen, idyllische heuvels en het charmante Buxton. Op loopafstand bevindt zich een nieuwe supermarkt. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!

Very cute little vestry building, perfect for two. Poynton is a lovely village with lots of cafes and restaurants. it was beautiful weather so there was lots of opportunities to try out some of the walks suggested in the welcome pack. The hosts were very friendly and did their best to respond to any issues we had. The mezzanine is pretty high and my daughter did not feel comfortable sleeping up there, but there was a z-bed which we used in the lounge area instead. Thanks for a great stay.

We spent a few days at The Annex over the new year period. The weather was shocking but we got a lovely warm welcome from Greg and the place was cosy and inviting. The location is perfect; it's so peaceful yet you can pop along to the village shop in a couple of minutes and there are friendly pubs to walk to. Holmfirth is just a five minute drive away. The Annex is a great place to stay and Greg and Mandy are right there if you need anything whilst respecting your privacy and leaving you to it. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Great hosts and an amazing property. A beautiful location with great views over the village. The scullery had everything we needed and was a beautiful place to stay. Peter and Emma were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home and provided great advice. We had a great welcome and had an amazing stay. We highly recommend staying at the scullery and would come back here again.

Another wonderful stay at Alicia beautiful and well appointed barn conversion. As before the property was presented immaculately and had everything we required for a wonderful stay with our cocker spaniel.

Had a girly weekend here & as soon as we got there we were wowed with the beautiful scenery! It was just perfect for what we needed & the hot tub was lovely & hot at all times, perfect place would absolutely go back!

Stunning property that was tucked away and felt very private. Close to lots of walking routes and an easy drive to lots of nice restaurants. Elaine provided very detailed instructions on how to arrive which were very helpful and there was lots of information in the accomodation about local amenities. We loved our visit, Elaine was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this property

We had a wonderful stay at Julia's lovely property in Poynton. We found it clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in the centre of town.

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! Fantastic stay at Jenny’s, Bolehill View had everything we needed; the WiFi was excellent (we had to work one day from the Airbnb), lovely layout, great kitchen, very comfy bed. Highly recommend and would stay again!

This space was exactly what we were after for a long weekend in the Peak District. The place was beautifully decorated, had every amenity we needed in the kitchen and bathroom (including jams, honey, oats), and Justin provided us with the most thorough and detailed welcome pack we'd seen. Also, SO grateful for blackout curtains and LOVED the hammock and swinging chair to relax in the sun at the end of the day. Thanks so much Justin, would definitely recommend 😊

Oak cottage was everything we expected and more, fantastic location, amazing views. The cottage was brilliant, a lemon drizzle cake and treats for the dogs on arrival. We will definitely be returning next year, 10 out of 10 for me

The whole place was spotlessly clean and everything supplied was of a high standard. The eggs, bacon, bread, orange, milk and butter along with tea, coffee , biscuits and cereal provided meant we didn’t have to nip out to the shops to buy anything or bring those items with us. We enjoyed the whirlpool bath and the log burner in the evening and loved all the attention to detail with the lighting . The view was beautiful and garden and outdoor seating were an added feature. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

Great place in great location, our dogs had a lovely time time running around the paddock with the owners dogs and we really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub! Adrian is a top man, really great to chat to and have a bit of friendly Yorkshire banter. Will visit again for sure!

The loveliest of hosts. Rachel was very friendly and very helpful, leaving a postcard with kind words and recommendations and a small gift basket. The bnb was very cosy and spotless, and dare I say better than the photos. We were even welcomed with a sign which reassured us that we were at the right place. The location was perfect with a 10 min drive to Castleton and 20-30 mins to other places like Bakewell, Buxton and Sheffield. All amenities needed were provided, the shower temperature and pressure were of no issue, providing a great morning shower. It was nice just waking up and leaving to see (and hear) the sheep (even though they stare a little 😂). I can’t fault the place, and couldn’t recommend anymore. 6/5 stars. My only comment would be that we found it a little difficult to find at first and actually stumbled on it by accident. Thank you very much!
