We really enjoyed our stay, will be booking again. Keep in mind that they have another set of same trio-cabin about 20 miles away. If you plan on booking all three together, communicate with the host clearly.

The cabin was perfect for my wife & I’s recent weekend trip to hike/explore SNP. The cabin was super cute, comfortable, and clean. We loved the wrap around windows, deck, and hot tub. The keyless entry worked well and was super convenient The cabin is very private, however there are still other cabins/houses nearby, so you don’t feel too secluded or unsafe. On Saturday afternoon the weather did not cooperate for hiking (thunderstorms), so we picked up food in Luray (~10-15 mins away) and came back to the cabin, cuddled up on the couch and watched Netflix. They had a guest Netflix account so we didn’t have the hassle of logging into our account, or if you don’t have a Netflix account you are covered. Note: some of the pictures are outdated, there are no noisy AC window units that block your views , they have been upgraded to mini-splits in the living room and bedroom mounted jut below the ceiling which made zero noise and were easy to control the temperature in both rooms via a singl

Beautiful home in an amazing setting! The house had everything needed and the property was even better than the photos. Very quiet and private. Host was friendly and responsive. Can’t recommend enough!

Mark was truly a super host. The preparation work he did in terms of getting you there, operation of equipment, expectations was phenomenal. He was very responsive when we had an issue. And the EV car charger was a huge addition. Would definitely book from Mark again!

A really lovely cabin - very clean, spacious (loads of options for hiding with a book!) and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pans etc - including knives! The toys, games and various additional items for kids are such a thoughtful touch. It’s so peaceful and we loved sitting in the hot tub and listening to the birds and the rain. A highlight for our 6 year old was finding the secret creek and looking for fish. The location is great, too - easy access to the SNP and the various caverns! Would love to come again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Viewpoint! The beautiful sign at the entrance made it easy to find and was a nice touch to our welcome. Upon our arrival, the cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Our girls loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table, and the trail down to the creek behind the cabin was an added bonus! It was extra special to be able to bring our dogs with us! It’s very convenient to Shenandoah NP. The hosts were incredibly kind, quick to respond and gracious — offering us a generously early check in! We will 100% be booking again!

We had a great stay in the Treetops Cabin. We were looking for a quiet clean place to get away for a few days, and this was perfect. Very clean and very quiet, and had everything that we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub, walked the dog around the neighborhood, and mostly doing very little. We did take advantage of Shenandoah Outfitters that is just down the street and kayaked on the river for a couple of hours. Also, the town didn't seem as far as mentioned. We went to pickup pizza and take the dog to the park, and also went to an outdoor brewery with live music early Friday evening. A great mini-vacation!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

Loved our stay here!! Would come back again in a heartbeat, this was such a beautiful space with a wonderfully responsive host. We ended up having a bit of broken glass at the property & immediately the host made sure that we were safe & got someone out to clean it up! Wonderful host, wonderful space, & a wonderful experience

We had a lovely stay at this little cottage - it’s rhetorical perfect escape from DC! We loved how cozy and comfortable everything was and our dog loved exploring the woods around the cabin we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. It was perfect for our two dogs and their two humans. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, relaxing back porch and fire pit, easy drive to Luray for food/drinks/supplies. Easy to get to from the DC/MD area. Would love to come back.

Our little family had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! Bobby was more than accommodating with us having to change plans after we initially booked. The cabin itself was comfortable and secluded. Our kiddos loved making a fire in the evenings and us parents enjoyed the hot tub during their naps. Bobby was very responsive and everything was just as described. We enjoyed some of the local civil war sights and Luray cavern! We would love to come back one day!

Sure! Here’s a catchier version of your review: We had an amazing stay at Bob’s place! The home was just as described. The location couldn’t have been better, with the river right in front of the house, making for a truly relaxing experience. The master bedroom’s balcony overlooking the river was the perfect spot to unwind. On top of that, the host was super friendly and always available. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

The cabin was very clean and looked like how it was listed. It had a very nice, covered porch that wrapped around half the cabin. The hot tub was the main reason we rented this cabin. The hot tub was great, clean, and easily to get to from the house. The kitchen was great, and we did a lot of cooking in. It did have most things you needed, but I would suggest bringing cooking spray, foil, and plastic wrap if you plan on cooking. The only thing we didn't like was the bed was very firm, and we aren't firm bed people since we have some hip and back issues, so be aware of this if you are staying here and aren't firm bed people.

Booked this trip for a nice weekend getaway for just me and my husband. We LOVED the views and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the mountains. We did some exploring of downtown Luray and had a nice dinner at Chop House Bistro(amazing entrees). Take the owners recommendations and take a AWD or 4WD for the road to the cabin. We did and couldn't imagine not having it. We saw so many deer up the path to the cabin the night after dinner, it was beautiful! && the view from the cabin in the hot tub was AMAZING! We can't wait to bring our daughter with us next time to do some more exploring!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The space was immaculately clean, and the quiet and serene surroundings created the perfect setting for rest and relaxation. Everything was super comfortable and cozy, making it easy to settle in and feel at home right away. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean, tranquil escape!

We loved this gorgeous cabin in the woods with the sweetest bear-themed decor. It was really well-equipped so we could cook our own meals and Marty and Mellanie were great communicators who suggested a few nice hikes. The only downside was the crazy number of bugs! Be sure to bring the bug spray and it's not super pleasant sitting outside because of that so be warned.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great post Christmas trip to the region. We actually felt the photos didn't do it justice and it's a little cuter and nicer than we were expecting!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area, perfect for an extended family vacation! The basement was full of fun and games for the kids and so importantly a separate TV so the adults could watch shows upstairs. The water is beautiful and wood is available for the firepit. We really enjoyed this place, particularly having 3 bathrooms which made sharing the space with many extended family members great. The hosts are super responsive to communications, and were gracious enough to give us flexibility on our check in time as we wrangled the kids (and adults). I would highly recommend this cabin, and we will definitely stay again!

If youre looking for a serene getaway with peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Great place with many hikes around. While there are barely any restaurants open daily or other activities close by, there are still some within driving distance (30ish minutes). But that comes with the secluded-ness of this wonderful cabin. Inside looks exactly like the pictures and the outside is even better (in my opinion).

This was our third time staying in this cabin - it’s the perfect size for two families. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable and homey. And the location is great - you can walk to the lake and the awesome local brewery. Looking forward to our next stay.
