We loved it! Great place to relax after rafting. Would recommend for star gazing as well! The Perseids shower peaked the day we left, but we were able to see some crazy beautiful shooting stars on our last night. It was amazing :) Would definitely come back!

Another great stay at this place! We came for a car show that Kernville had at the River Park- little did we know that it was the same weekend as a huge 4 block long ‘yard sale’! So a fun time was had. As always, we had a relaxing time and felt right at home. We look forward to our next visit!

We had such a great time for a last-minute trip. House is very clean one of the cleanest ones we have stayed so far. Kitchen has everything you need including some basic seasoning. Views are stunning! Best part of the house. Also loved that is very private, no Nextdoor neighbors.

Wow, I can’t rave enough about Tamar’s place. I stayed 9 nights and hardly left the ranch. There are miles and miles of private trails all throughout the ranch and surrounding forest, creek, gold mines, and foothills. Incredible views of the Sierras, valley, and Lake Isabella. Easy drive into town with everything you could possible need. Beautiful drive to Kernville that has some nice restaurants and shops. The place itself is so comfortable and has everything you could possible need. Really enjoyed the huge tub, the jacuzzi, and the fire pit right off the patio. Pretty much had the ranch to myself, and this spot is perfect if you are looking to get away from it all. Very private, safe, and quiet. Susan was so kind and was always around if I needed anything. I will absolutely be staying here again, and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a private and affordable escape. Thank you Tamar and Susan! See you soon!

Super responsive and friendly hosts! Helped with restaurants recommendations and party planning, even mailed items to us we accidentally left behind! Home is on cute street in Porterville and centrally located.

I had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would be happy to stay again in the future. Thank you!

Vianny was an incredible hoast! Very quick to respond and very easy to talk to about any questions I had. The house itself was immaculate. It was so clean and tidy. The living room is so spacious with lovely furnishings. The pool area is very well maintained also. My family and I on several occasions mention how nice the place was along with the neighborhood! All 8 people in our reservation were thoroughly impressed with our stay!!!

The stay was tranquil and peaceful. The property is located within walking distance of many food options and shops. The home was very clean and had everything you needed. The porch was so lovely! I would definitely stay here again! The host was super responsive too. I recommend this property!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this rental.. We did have erroneous door code info sent originally with the auto reply system but as I checked in with the host before we left our home to confirm the details, it was quickly corrected and we had no additional issues. We had perfect weather and even with a warm up in the late afternoons, the 2 window AC units kept things very comfortable. Overall, we enjoy Kernville and the area and look forward to hopefully renting this unit again.
