Fantastic place to stay. The villa is huge, beautiful, clean, grand and kept in a great condition. We were a group of 8 and could possibly fit 8 more people. The pool is a highlight and such a relief after a long day out. Very conveniently located to Tbilisi. FYI, follow host’s directions to get to the house. Maia and Vano, that live on premises are the most warm and hospitable people. If we needed anything, they would go above an beyond. There may be water issues during your stay, but if you communicate these, the issue will be resolved in no time. Good kitchen and spectacular dining room. Backyard and its residents (doggies, turkeys (?)) are picturesque. Oh and the wine!!

Giga is always responsive and friendly. Thanks for accepting my last minute booking and being so helpful. She is also very funny, we had a good chat. 😁

Всё супер, как будто приехали в гости к родственникам, в самом лучшем смысле:) Лали - самая гостеприимная хозяйка, всегда заботилась о нас и помогала с любыми вопросами. Дом довольно большой, в летнюю жару прохладный, а в небольшом бассейне можно охладится. Нам особенно понравился балкон - просторный, выходит на восточную сторону. По расположению - все самое важное в нескольких минутах ходьбы. Мы останавливались на месяц, для долговременного пребывания и удалённой работы всё было отлично.

The house was good, you have everything inside, and a marvelous view from the balcony. Very hospitable host, really good for a new year celebration. Quite expensive on a New Year time, but seems the same is everywhere during the holidays. Would be really glad to come back!

Roman and Nino are wonderful hosts - very friendly, kind and very welcoming. A visit to their wine room (marani) was very interesting, and Nino's breakfasts were wonderful. Jeni the dog is also super friendly and wonderful. The town stands out as it is tourist-oriented and looks better than some other towns along the way from Tbilisi. Alazani valley offers great views and quite a few tourist attractions. Signagi is located on a hill, so the price for great views is a winding road to get to the valley, which is OK but requires some concentration (which is generally needed when driving around). In general it was an excellent stay, highly recommended.

I’m very happy with this stay. The house is spacious and equipped with everything you might need. It has a patio with a fireplace and a large balcony offering an amazing view. Thank you for hosting us.

The place is wonderful, quiet, calm. The hotel is 10 minutes walking from the center. Tamar was a great host. She even came with her car to recollect us from the nearby village or made a splendid reservation for horse riding in a horse ranch. Very kind and helpful host. The room was clean, the bad was gigantic and comfortable. All clean and tidy. Totally reccommended. Thank you Tamar:-*

Very big house with 2 floors incredible terrace with mountain view, very quiet atmosphere, only dogs barking. The house is in the center and there is a winery Kerovani nearby, where the wine is very tasty! I had the pleasure of living in this wonderful place! I recommend it to everyone!

Lika und ihre Familie waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr großzügig und wir haben uns äußerst wohl gefühlt, vor allem, wenn wir uns auf der Terrasse getummelt haben. Wir haben alles bekommen, was wir noch brauchten, zum Beispiel Küchenutensilien. Auch den Ofen und die Waschmaschine der Familie konnten benutzen. Dies alles war sehr im ursprünglichen Airbnb-Spirit des Teilens von Privatraum und persönlichen Dingen. Danke dafür, besonders fürs Vertrauen! Vor allem die Küche und der Balkon, aber auch teilweise die Bäder waren nicht sauber. Schwamm drüber! Wir empfehlen diese spezielle Suite mit individuellen Charme an einem wundervollen Ort in einem spannenden Land sehr gerne weiter.

Patty's place is on the quiet side of Sighnaghi, with great views of St George's Church and down to the valley. But it is just a short stroll to the centre of town. We loved the space and the rustic feel. We had what we needed in the kitchen (great welcome starter kit was much appreciated). Patty's local helper Lia made us welcome and showed us the ropes.

I have been to dozens country-side Airbnbs across Europe. Every time trying to choose the most authentic. “Marani” is one of the best in this. Simple inside and outstanding outside. This kind of simplicity you can find in Scandinavia or Northern Europe, or in Spain, Balcans, Greece or Turkey. Such views you can find in Italy, Bavaria or Switzerland. But only here, in Signahi, you will find a feeling. A feeling of almost untouched 1500-year history and of a nature so much closed to yourself. You will feel that sitting on this terrace. The dogs will be barking and the cocks will be “singing” - but you will enjoy the view anyway and think when you are going to come here again.
