We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Fred’s house was great! The house’s open concept was large enough for all of us (6 adults) to hang out in through the cold winter days without feeling crowded. The fireplace added lovely ambience and warmth. The six bedrooms ensured we all had our own space, which was a nice treat for our girls’ weekend. The master bedroom with ensuite was particularly spacious. The whole house was nicely decorated, and overall was a cozy and welcoming place. We didn’t use the sunroom, as is unfortunately smelled of smoke. Fred was a very responsive host. He quickly answered any questions. We had a lovely stay here, and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend it.

The cottage is just off the main road making it extremely convenient. There was more than enough space for our party of ten. We really loved the two living spaces, upstairs and downstairs. And the outside area was beautiful. We had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend Herbs place to friends!

Dylan’s place was better than anticipated. Large, well-laid out, clean, beautiful views and well-stocked. I think most impressive was Dylan himself who was extremely responsive and friendly. He is a SuperHost. I would absolutely come back,

Absolutely stunning home on the water! Beautifully decorated and very well set up to host people. We had a wonderful time and the host was so quick to reply when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking again in the future. The home is spotless. The beds are comfy, the hot tub was hot, the kitchen and appliances were unbelievably well thought out. The information given was so helpful in figuring out how to use everything. 10/10 experience and weekend. Thank you!!

The lakeside view was breathtaking, and we loved having access to kayaking—such a peaceful way to start the mornings. The place was spotless, and the host clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable. Little touches like the coffee and tea machine, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a baby gate for safety made our stay so convenient. The living area was cozy, and we enjoyed using the BBQ grill for some outdoor meals. Honestly, we couldn’t think of anything missing—it had everything we needed! The place is exactly how it was advertised. Everything in the property was well thought of in terms of what people might need in their stay. Kitchen was well equipped that I was able to cook without issues. The host provided info about the location and places to see which is very thoughtful. Olga’s home was beyond my expectations! The place looks exactly like the pictures, everything is spotless and very clean! There is a great attention to detail to making the home feel cozy! Olga was also very helpful throughout the trip and very responsive. It’s located very close to the restaurants and the underground garage parking was great! Overall 5/5, would highly recommend to others and will be coming back in the summer!

We had a wonderful stay and Anas was so accommodating and helpful with check in and our arrival time. The condo was clean and inviting with all the the listed amenities and more. Friday Harbour is a perfect way to spend our weekend!

Tatiana and Tymur were wondering hosts. They really care for their guests and for their beautiful cottage. The large windows in the cottage really showcased the beauty of the outdoor space. There are many rooms with comfortable beds and three washrooms - all well equipped- which was great as we were traveling in a larger group. The kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the large family living room, they even had extra games for us to play. Everything was kept tidy and clean. We all felt comfortable and at home. The family was already asking to come back in the summer! Thank you again ☺️

Amazing host, the dock is separate from the house, a 10 second walk, the hot tub and sauna are in the backyard. Water is very heavy and smells a lot, place is older and has bugs, but overall it was a great stay if you’re not picky. The hosts allowed us an early check in and late check out. Just because of their service I give them a 10/10

The stay was amazing and the host was also very responsive. Highly recommend. Only there was water pressure issue. As someone takes a bath the water in the kitchen slows down and vice-versa. Other than this it was a must visit place.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

The cottage setting was spectacular! Quiet and peaceful with the amenities my group loves - big, comfortable common spaces, a large kitchen, and rooms for private, peaceful sleeping. The wood burning fireplace was a real treat.
