Abenteuer in der Wildnis! Dies ist wirklich eine atemberaubende Unterkunft und der Gastgeber ist permanent bemüht den Aufenthalt zu perfektionieren. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen. Fußläufig ist nichts zu erreichen. Man muss sich einen Roller mieten (bekommt man auch durch den Gastgeber). Nach Sidemen rein dauert die Fahrt dann 20-30 Minuten über wirklich katastrophale Straßen. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass die Natur in der Nacht sehr laut sein kann. Und die Unterkunft hat natürlich auch keine Klimaanlage (weil alles offen ist). Dementsprechend kann es sehr warm und auch laut sein. Die Unterkunft ist top sauber und sehr schön ausgestattet. Diese Unterkunft lohnt sich als kleines Abenteuer.

Endroit insolite, décoration soignée, construction magnifique. Lit super confortable, piscine/spa chauffée au top pour terminer la soirée. Accessible facilement vers Sidemen. Le petit déjeuner de base est très bon mais un peu léger. Cependant, possibilité de rajouter un plat supplémentaire. Il manque aussi quelques rangements, notamment dans les chambres et salle de bain (porte serviette). Restaurant à proximité mais n’est pas d’un très grand rapport qualité prix et nous avons eu plus d’une heure d’attente pour une commande avec livraison. Mais nous recommandons à 100% pour une évasion garantie !

I had a wonderful stay at this Villa. Cita and her family made me feel right at home — so warm and welcoming. They were always quick to respond to my messages and gave great recommendations. The pool was a highlight, with an incredible view of the jungle, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely lovely. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud!

We stayed 4 nights at Dewa’s villa, my wife and I. Dewa and Wayne are incredibly kind and helpful — they do everything they can to make you feel happy and comfortable. They are always available to respond to any needs you may have. The villa is located in the heart of the jungle, which offers a truly immersive and peaceful nature experience. You might come across a few insects, but nothing harmful or disturbing. One piece of advice: renting a scooter is essential, as the city center is quite far and the path to the villa is a bit difficult to walk. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and left feeling very satisfied. Ubud is a beautiful town with so many things to see and do. Thank you again to Dewa and Wayne for their warm welcome and generosity! 🙏😎

Great place, situated inside at the back of a Balinese family complex, facing the tjampuhan river side, very peaceful and serene. Very close to Cocoku, best cafe / laptop working spot in ubud with amazing food.

A gorgeous villa with impressive landscaping right on the beach, lots of room everywhere, both indoors and out. Lots of places to relax according to your mood, be it in loungers next to the infinity pool, comfy seating by the dining area and jacuzzi, in the gazebo overlooking the pool, on the back terrace, or at the seating area right adjacent to the beach (incredible and romantic sunsets). The staff were friendly, but in now way overbearing. The cook prepared good, sometimes basic, meals for us that were very tasty and introduced us to some local flavors as well. We told here what we wanted for the next day, she did the shopping and brought the receipts, this worked well. The beach is really nice, with big waves kicking up on some days. Standing in the water facing the villa, while looking at the sunrise coming up in the east and seeing the full moon going down over the volcanos of Java in the west is almost a spiritual experience.

Such an amazing place, everything was great. Owner was very helpful. The view was so breathtaking. One of the best experiences in Ubud, strongly recommended .

This was a great place, if this is the category of place you’re looking for. It’s a nice villa, with a nice view into the woods, yet close enough to the city (Ubud) to be a city stay. It provides a good dose of city and nature. Nyoman and his family were amazing. Very friendly, helpful, and good humans with good vibes. I genuinely liked them.

Die beste Dschungel Villa in Ubud! Es war ein großartiges Erlebnis, wenn wir die Möglichkeit hätten, wären wir länger geblieben. Die Lage war gut, mit einem eigenen Roller zu erreichen. Die Anreise war ein wenig komplex, da die Villa nicht ganz einfach zu finden ist, es könnte ein wenig dauern bis Grab Fahrer die Unterkunft finden. Jedoch hat Eric vorab genau Anweisungen gegeben und Bilder geschickt. Wir konnten früher einchecken und wurden herzlich begrüßt. Die Villa ist eine Perle mitten im Dschungel. Anders als bei anderen Unterkünften gab es hier keine Mücken und weniger Insekten, obwohl die Unterkunft offen gebaut ist. Alle Bereiche sind offen und die Atmosphäre und der Blick ist dadurch einfach atemberaubend. Man kann alle Bereiche bei Bedarf schließen und es gibt Türen und Schlösser. Der Pool war abkühlend , groß und schön tief. Das kostenlose Frühstück war eins der besten die wir auf Bali bekommen haben, sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft Eric!

You are amazing and the trips you organised for us were exclusive and we will remember our time in the real unspoilt Bali. Truly, it was a wonderful stay I had with my parents in Doni's villa. Astri and Desa were so helpful and kept everything clean and organized. They also taught us a lot about Balinese culture during Nyepi. The decor is marvelous and so is the location: close enough to Ubud but far enough away to be relaxing. The villa has its own private pool along with a second pool in the common grounds, which are wonderfully landscaped. We can't wait to return for another stay soon.

Wat hebben wij genoten in deze villa! Geweldige uitzichten op de rijstvelden met daarachter de zee, de villa is net zo mooi als op de foto’s, en de staf neemt alles voor je uit handen zodat je niets anders ka. Dan volop genieten en ontspannen. Het Noorden van Bali is wat rustiger. Maar echt de moeite waard! We hebben intens genoten van een dolfijnspotting tocht bij zonsopgang, bezoek van watervallen, prive yogales en massages in de villa. De villa manager is goed bereikbaar en samen met de staf kan alles worden geregeld. Ani en Putu zijn geweldige koks en we hebben van de maaltijden genoten. Voor een etentje buiten de deur bezochten we de beachclub Nalika, met prachtige uitzichten op zee.

Puri Landu is a truly lovely villa surrounded by beautiful rice fields - very peaceful with plenty of space for our group of 6. Our host Wayan was the kindest, loveliest man you could possibly meet. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Our stay in Ubud has been the highlight of our Bali trip. Totally recommend this beautiful villa.

Our stay at the villa was absolutely incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing manager, Gutsi and his team. From the moment we arrived, Gutsi was extremely helpful, responsive, and attentive to every detail. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was the private chef (we didn’t know about till we arrived) – the food was exceptional and every meal was a delight! Additionally, we made several last-minute requests for late-night drives, often just hours in advance, and Gutsi was always there to assist us with a warm smile and unwavering enthusiasm. What really stood out was the level of care and service. After we left the villa, Gutsi and the team noticed that we had forgotten several personal items. They not only collected everything for us but also arranged to have them sent directly to our next hotel. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay.

Es war fantastisch. Wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Redi und Kadek haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und sind so herzliche Menschen. Sie haben uns mit sehr feinem Essen und Frühstück verwöhnt. Die Villa ist noch schöner wie auf den Fotos. Die Aussicht, die Ruhe und Natur einfach wunderschön. Toller Pool, unsere Kinder liebten diesen grossen Pool. Der Gärtner hat den Garten schön gepflegt. Unser Driver Kadek hat uns wunderschöne Orte gezeigt und war ein toller Begleiter. Der Norden hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und nur in diese Villa!

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Ngakan’s Uma Bali villa in Ubud!From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. Ngakan was an incredibly helpful and attentive host, always making sure we had everything we needed. The staff were equally amazing—friendly, kind, and always ready to assist. The villa itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by stunning rice fields that offer the most picturesque views. It’s also conveniently located not far from the center of Ubud, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a tranquil retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was the food—absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Bali. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back again!

My stay at this eco lodge in Munduk was nothing short of magical! Nestled deep in the lush jungle, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sounds of nature, surrounded by misty mountains and vibrant greenery, felt like a dream. The lodge’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness added an extra layer of charm to the experience. The hospitality was exceptional – the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the warm greetings upon arrival to the thoughtful recommendations for local hikes and waterfalls, every detail was taken care of. The meals were delicious, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and we loved dining while overlooking the jungle canopy. The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The open-air bath was a highlight, offering a unique way to connect with nature. Make sure to go down and see the waterfall and natural pool. Such a unique experience. Highly recommend!

Wat een fantastische plek, het uitzicht, de rust, de prachtige natuur, de supermooie design cabin.. we hebben er van genoten! Het buitenbad is ook een belevenis! En ze kwamen ‘s avonds het haardvuur aansteken buiten. Het ligt afgelegen dus veel restaurants heb je niet in de buurt, ze zijn ook vroeg gesloten, een taxi kan je beter vantevoren regelen, maar je zit ook middenin de jungle! Het was gewoon geweldig!

The stay was definitely a perfect match for me being a nature person. I was so gracious the host provided me with Balinese clothing for the temple. They were truly accommodating. Overall I would definitely recommend this location and even stay again. I appreciate you making my trip very special.

Wir haben uns bei den Jungs von Black Wood äußerst wohl gefühlt. Sie waren immer schnell zu erreichen und hilfsbereit. Was wir im vorfeld vielleicht besser gewusst hätten ist, dass die Unterkunft sehr abgelegen ist und für einen normalen uber Fahrer schwer zu erreichen da ein passendes Auto für den weg benötigt wird. Die Jungs fahren einen allerdings zu jeder Zeit hoch zur Hauptstraße und holen einen wieder ab.

We spent two amazing days here, and we only wish we could have stayed longer! The villa was spotless, with every detail carefully prepared for our arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was simply stunning, featuring a huge bathtub perfect for relaxing after a long day. Hot water was always available, which isn’t always a given in every place. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool on the terrace with breathtaking views of the rice fields – an absolute paradise for the eyes and soul. The host was exceptionally kind, always helpful, and ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible. This place is the definition of luxury and tranquility – perfect for relaxation and escaping everyday life. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
