You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

Smeaton is a small town located 22km from Daylesford, 15km from Creswick and 35km from Ballarat in the heart of Gold mining country.
