Stayed here for a few nights and the house is really wonderful! Had everything we needed and a personal touch.

Great home and great location! I would stay here again as it's in one of the nicer areas in Bakersfield

Having recently spent this weekend my wife and I are looking forward to a return trip. As expected the weather was overcast, windy and cool. Needless to say we spent a good deal of our time inside, relaxing and enjoying the warmth that this cozy hideaway has to offer. As advertised Surf n Vine is plenty spacious, extremely well equipped and the overall layout is awesome. My wife was very pleased with all that this home has to offer. This visit we brought our frenchie. For the next stay we hope to bring our grandchildren as well to enjoy an active summer vacation. As my wife stated the kitchen layout and lots of barstool seating lends itself to some awesome family time, prepping and enjoying meals. Morro Rock views from the deck, barbecuing fresh steaks and enjoying the cool, coastal weather is how we enjoyed our 45th wedding anniversary. Really looking forward to our next stay. My family had a great stay in this lovely home in Goleta. The space is clean and spacious, with ample parking and a lovely backyard. It was easy to find and access, and it's a short drive to downtown, the beach, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I did a five day stay here and it was well worth it. We wanted to stay somewhere serene while still being able to explore Santa Barbara and Ojai. Santa Barbara is only 15 minutes away and Ojai is about 30 minutes. We bounced around between those two towns and also got to see what Carpinteria was all about. Steven's place is 7 minutes to the Carpinteria Bluffs where heaven meets earth. The locals are friendly and high in consciousness, they are one with the environment and take pride in their role in keeping it safe. The home itself is spacious with great views, the kitchen was fully stocked with the all the cooking essentials. Instacart delivers to this location if you need anything last minute. During the stay you will hear different sounds of farm animals in the distance which I found relaxing. The living room is comfortable with tons of lounge furniture and space. The outdoor decks have plenty of seating and is surrounded by wildlife. If you want peace come here!

Great location and grounds. Clean and bright. Washer and dryer and dishwasher all work great. Plenty of supplies like soap and TP. Cooper was great and really helpful. There weren't coffee filters but the Vons is close. (The Vons was out of basket coffee filters so prolly helps to bring some and also bring some plastic utensils) Not quite enough hand towels for fastidious types but paper towels were available and it was great to have 2 1/2 baths. I usually bring my own pillow but didn't this trip and the pillows are quite tall and firm so it was not comfortable for me. Nice to have closet space and drawer space. Really a nice place. Heater works swell. Fridge is spacious. Turns out a relative lives down the street so I can honestly say there are great neighbors. There is a wonderful park with a great playground five minutes away. Check-in and out was easy and fast. The outdoor space is wonderful. Really close to a perfect stay.

WOW!!! Even better than the photos. The view of the bay and Morro rock were way more prevalent than even the photos led on. Everything was clean and perfect. Thank you!

This charming, comfy and classic stay makes you feel like a lucky local. (It will also make you want to paint your walls lemon and melon colors.) The apt and walkable neighborhood were perfect for our family- 2 adults, 1 teen - so easy to stroll out the door to everywhere. A fantastic home base for exploring Santa Barbara.

My family had a wonderful time staying at this cozy, peaceful space over Easter Weekend. The home was very clean and had a lot of amenities for us to make our stay great. The five of us fit comfortably and the kitchen was nice to cook Easter dinner in. This place is also a short walk to the beach. Host was very gracious and very responsive.

I have an annual golf trip in Ojai and prefer an AirBnB. This place suited my needs. Quiet. Clean. Great, hot shower. Comfy bed. Microwave and mini fridge. I’m not really in the places that much when I’m in town so that’s about. Only star I would ding the place for is just that it’s a ways back behind the house and away from the street on a semi uneven stone walkway. It’s not an issue for me since I’m able. But if you needed to roll any luggage or had an unsteady gait, this might not be a perfect fit. Otherwise. No notes. Friendly communicable hosts are always appreciated which they are.

Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

We absolutely loved Maddie’s house in SB! The beds and pillows were SO comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed and we felt right at home. We brought bikes to get around and never had to move our car! Super close to the beach too! Maddie was super helpful whenever we needed anything! We definitely will be returning to this super cute beach house!

This was our second time staying at this location, and it was just as wonderful as our first stay! Steps from the beach and walking distance to everything else. Has its own dedicated parking space which is a huge plus, especially when Pismo is busy. Would recommend this spot to any couples looking for a replacing beach weekend.

Had a really nice stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly like the photos. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great location—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Would definitely book again!

We booked this home for our family Christmas trip, and it honestly surpassed our expectations. Lots of room for a big family. The sauna was a plus for us, it snowed when we stayed there and it was such a perfect cozy home for after some snow fun. There isn’t much of a grocery store nearby besides a convenience store. We took a lot of things from outside of the town(near castaic stopped by a Ralph’s) which helped with meals and snacks. They did provide a lot of toiletries so that helped, I would definitely travel again to this property with my family next year. communication was very easy to have and check-in was a breeze!

This is a lovely place to rejuvenate in the Santa Ynez area. It is located between Los Olivos and Santa Ynez so you cannot really walk to anywhere which was fine for us. The biking in the area was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to relax and unwind. This is a very peaceful and private setting with plenty of room and ample parking.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb over the weekend! The place was absolutely amazing—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. We had a lot of fun throughout our stay. Gus was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our questions, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!

Beautiful spot for a short break. Cynthia anticipates needs and makes everything perfect. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living/dining: every space had just what was needed. We'd have enjoyed the exterior spaces even more, if the weather had cooperated. Tennis court and pool on site, hiking nearby. Excellent value for the price.

Simply magical! Stunning property with incomparable views, the best hammock in the world, beautiful outdoor dining space, right on top of Solvang but feels like you’re in the Tuscan countryside. Beautiful, light filled home with views all around and extremely clean and well appointed. Can’t say enough wonderful things, and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Amazing!

it's a wonderful and ideal place for families for a quick weekend getaway. I had a quiet relaxing weekend with perfect socal weather. The house has really good positive energy.
