Experience living tiny in this lovingly built small scale space that includes everything you need for a cozy getaway. Return from a day of hiking in Acadia National Park to soak in the clawfoot tub or relax on the tiny deck, with a glimpse of the ocean. This 20ft x 8ft tiny home is situated in a backyard, a short walk from Manset Town Dock and Peter Trout Tavern, and a five-minute drive from Southwest Harbor and parts of Acadia National Park (about 20 min to longer hikes and the loop road).

The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is located in the Village of Southwest Harbor on Mt. Desert Island, where local lobstermen start their day around 3 am. The house is located across from Milagro Coffee Bar and the Shoppes at Southwest Harbor and just minutes away from many hiking trails in Acadia National Park, restaurants, shops, swimming holes & beaches. Charming 2 bedroom traditional wooden cabin situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor National park land.
