WOW.....Outlook Lodge has got to be one of the best UK holidays we've been to: * the photos don't do it justice in the layout, quality of furniture/beds/bedding. The attention to detail is amazing. *the view from the Lodge is just spectacular, breath taking. *Debbie is an extremely friendly, approachable person, nothings to much trouble. Her pre-arrival info is awesome. Lots of recommendations ref pubs for dining, places to go, dog walks, cycle tracks. *Hot tub is lovely & hot, watching the stars over the Mendips is fabulous. *The Lodge has all mod cons. Streaming TV, full WiFi, beds are just so comfy, central heating makes the Lodge snug & warm, full range of kitchen utensils (if you want to cook). *Can't not mention the gorgeous small herd of Alpacas, who are sometimes in the field next to Lodge, they will come and say hi to you 😍 If you want a relaxing tranquil quiet/peaceful break then we can't recommend Debbie's place enough. We will definitely be back very soon 😘 🤩👍xxx

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife for a relaxing break, very peaceful and relaxing. Easy to check in and out. Denise left a few goodies for us which was a nice touch. Tea,coffee and a few breakfast items were also waiting for us. A great base to explore some local history We went to puzzlewood which is only a 15 minute drive away and Offa’s dyke that has stunning views that is another 10 minutes further away. All together we had a lovely time. We really enjoyed our stay.

Me and my partner had a lovely relaxing stay in this lovely cosy home. Lots of space and everything you could need and ask for. So close to local pubs and amenities and only 30 minutes to Bath and Longleat. Beautiful views from the relaxing hot tub which has to be the best one I’ve ever used. Lots of space, jets, and a built in speaker! Host was very quick to respond and more than happy to help. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back soon!

what a beautiful cabin in a picturesque setting. Kelly was great throughout amwith comes and support. the cabin is better than the pictures and sitting in the hot tub under the night sky, listening to the birds is nothing short of perfect. the walks into the forest on the doorstep and secure location meant our dog had as good a time as we did. wonderful all round and would 100% revisit and recommend

Amazing place! The star is definitely the view while soaking in the hot tub. The hut has everything we needed for a weekend stay. The kitchen is enough to prepare simple meals and bbq. The location is near so many places to visit like Bath and Wells. The hut was easy to find and Andrew was very helpful in explaining everything. He was also very responsive. We will definitely be back.

Amazing stay in such a beautiful setting. The cabin was really spacious and had everything we needed. The hot tub and BBQ were super easy to get started and keep warm. The grounds are beautiful and Kate was really responsive and proactive with local recommendations

From the moment I checked in I felt completely relaxed and away from it all. The accomodation was very private in the wonderful garden surroundings, packed with birds. Everything was immaculately clean and as described, loved the outdoor seating late in the afternoon sun. Perfect location for many outdoor activities, personally I hiked daily and was spoilt for choice where to go. Perfect place, central to all the Forest of Dean has to offer. Mick and his family were wonderful hosts, and have a real gem of place. I would happily return to further any adventures.

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded, private cabin in the woods with great views for a romantic get away then this is the place. This cabin is super cozy, once the log burner is lite looking out over the expansive views or chilling in the hot tub listening to the birds you will come back form your little break refreshed. Check in is super easy, the bed is really comfy and there is even tea and coffee provided. I would highly recommend

The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

Me and my partner came here for three nights. Marjorie and Tom were very welcoming and friendly people. The cabin was surrounded by beautiful views and also very close to local amenities. Will be coming back 🙂

Truly stunning location with beautiful friendly hosts who made us feel at welcome to explore the whole farm. Victoria obviously has an exceptional eye for detail, the Lodge was clean and very well organised, with everything and more than we needed. Beautiful stay I can’t wait to stay again, so many lovely touches. We felt right at home and our furry family were also so at home and loved the woodland area to play and explore. Loved the attention to detail 5 stars guys.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our retriever. The cabin is beautiful, peaceful and very private with an amazing view from the balcony to sit outside and watch the sunsets. The hosts supply everything you'd need, even bits for your dog! They allow dogs to have freedom in the open fields in front of your cabin, which ours absolutely loved to play with his ball. So much to do nearby but we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the cabin than go out as we adored it so much. Their cabin is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We couldn't recommend it more and hope to return in the future.

Perfect place for a quick stop over if you are looking for somewhere quieter and less hassle than central city locations, but close enough for a quick taxi into town. Arrived early before check in and Carley was flexible to allow for a place to park. Clean and welcoming ‘Snug’ for those visiting the area.

We enjoyed a night in the bluebell pod and it was unbelievable. Frederica was really responsive and helpful. The pod is incredible. It was spotless, came with great cooking facilities, and the view of the lake was beautiful. We will definitely be back

The instructions Zannah sent to find the property were very easy to follow and got us straight there. The cabin was as advertised and was well equipped with everything you could imagine you’d need. Breakfast was lovely- toast, cereals and warm croissants in the garden. Being able to use the garden/ trampoline/ swing etc was really helpful.

We loved our visit to the Tam house. It is comfortable, well appointed and made for a great base from which to explore Bristol. We would love to return sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at Ashlea Lakeside Resort! The Kingfisher Pod was beautifully designed with high-spec finishes, and the whole setting was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was spotless and clearly put together with care and attention to detail. We especially loved the hot tub – such a perfect way to unwind. We’ve already shared the details with friends. Such a lush place! 🤩
