Smugglers’ Creek is a cosy traditional fisherman’s cottage on the riverside in the lovely village of Stoke Gabriel, South Hams. There is a slipway just outside the cottage where you can launch your dinghy or kayak, and you can also hire a kayak from the quay in summer. The South West Coast Path 100m away, runs East towards Bigbury on Sea and West, towards the River Erme. The area is steeped in history and offers something for everyone. There is surfing, fishing, walking, windsurfing, diving, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. However there is no need to leave the property with its garden overlooking the beach and cosy fire indoors.
