Carriage Cottage is an original coach house converted into a lovely country escape set in the beautiful grounds of stately home Davenport House. There is a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area divided by the old stable stall, and high ceilings which make it feel light and expansive. Very comfortably furnished it has two large beautifully appointed bedrooms with king size beds and day beds, sleeping 6. A charming garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue are at your disposal.

The historic village of Ironbridge is set in a steep sided gorge with narrow roads. We are situated at the top. It is a 12 minute drive to Telford town centre, conference venues and train station. Close to the National Cycle Routes we offer a 10% discount for guests arrive by bike or public transport.

You will love being in a quiet cul de sac, parking outside the house. Only a 20 minute walk into Sutton Coldfield, and Good Hope Hospital, via Newhall Valley Country Park. Sutton Park is nearby, which is a beautiful, 2400 acre National Nature Reserve. There are buses and trains within a short walking distance, to Birmingham, Universities, NEC, Tamworth,Lichfield and more! I am easy going, and willing to help with any queries. I have 2 gorgeous well behaved and friendly cockapoo dogs.

Spacious, quiet and cozy, our loft is on the second floor of the house, which we refurbished over the past few years while keeping its Edwardian soul. Access is via the main house entrance and through shared corridor and staircase.

A mere 10 minute walk to the city centre with Cathedral, theatre, bars, restaurants and shops. Jimi, my cockerpoo, and I welcome friendly (to both of us) dogs. one rule they must not be left in the room.
