A lovely house with friendly and helpful hosts!

The stay was wonderful. Margaret went above an beyond to help us enjoy our stay. I messaged her to please turn the heating down whilst we were out and she did that immediately. Also by son left a sentimental item there and she contacted us immediately and arranged to get it back to us. Margaret was very responsive and helped with any questions we had. All in all she was a wonderful host and the house was perfect for us.

A very comfortable place to stay. All the amenities required were present. It looks like you are living in the middle of the hood because it's so quiet but near every services you might need. Totally recommend. It's included a pleasant dog who likes to play a lot, but at same time you can't notice her while you are inside.

Lovely bed which was super helpful as had done a lot of travelling! Florence herself is lovely.

We stayed here during our trip to Peak District National Park and room was nice and clean with private bathroom. There was a TV as well including Netflix guest account which honestly is such a low key thing but makes experience more homely. Plenty parking on the residential street Only thing to note is: The room is on the top floor which was alright for us but could be difficult for some people

Dan has a fabulous home, very modern, the bed was so comfy, lovely modern kitchen, outdoor space and seating - it was so easy to find and super quiet. Perfect for Asda, and a short walk to the horse racing. Thanks so much Dan! Taxi from the station for a fiver x

We had a great stay at Zoya's place. The apartment is private in a quiet area. It's very close to the lakeside. There is everything in the apartment that we needed.

Stayed at Kevin’s place for just a flying visit, it was perfect for what we needed and close too so much! It was super clean && comfy. He was a super responsive and friendly host and there’s nothing I could fault this place for. Excellent value for money and certainly would stay again if in the area.

Great little apartment. just what we needed for an overnight stay. Tea and Coffee a nice touch. previous reviews mentioned lack of a bathroom mirror, this has now been rectified. heating easy to adjust as required. it is on a busy road, but this would really only affect people staying on the sofa bed in the lounge area. 5min walk to local pub and 15min walk to nearest village. would stay again.

Another great stay at John and Jane’s cottage - our third visit. Such a peaceful and beautiful spot, a great property with excellent facilities and really cosy and comfortable. Easy to get into Sheffield and great walks from the door. Love it!

We booked this weekend away for my birthday and our stay exceeded our expectations. The cottage is absolutely beautiful - extremely clean, cosy and truly felt like a home away from home. The surroundings are peaceful, you can fall asleep to the sound of the stream outside. Everything you need is within walking distance. Holmfirth town centre is lovely - lots of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. The Pickled Pheasant is a must visit. All in all a 10/10 stay and will definitely be returning in the future. quaint charming comfortable cottage in a lovely village walking distance to pubs and restaurants and beautiful lake with boathouse converted to a tea room overlooking lake. For us carparking was the only issue we had was trying to find a safe place to park and leave the car on returning to property due to narrow lanes and trying not to obstruct pathways for pedestrians as was busy with cars already parked but it did not spoil the lovely weekend we had there. Everyone you meet were very welcoming and friendly 😊

I think I've said everything I can about Wendy's cottage. I am reluctant to say any more as I like staying there so much and it might get really difficult for me to book it!! Excellent cottage, great location, great restaurants within walking distance. Ace :-)
