Experience sunrises, sunsets and silence! No tv! An authentic, one room, earthen “cob house” on 300 private acres, totally off grid, solar powered, with rainwater catchment. Hot outdoor showers under the stars, rock patios, gas stove, mini fridge, king size bed, covered parking, WiFi, fire pit and Tootsie the turtle lives here too! Linens, kitchen utensils and towels provided. Only 30 minutes to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost town, 20 min to Terlingua Ranch Pool and Bad Rabbit Cafe.

The interior features classic Santa Fe style wood beam Viga ceilings, kiva fireplace stocked with wood, skylights, a full kitchen living area, private bedroom, soaking tub, modern appliances, washer & dryer, swamp cooler, WIFI, flat-screen TV, a lovely enclosed courtyard with mature trees and BBQ. Dogs are welcome.

Tastefully decorated with handpicked antiques, this little spot boasts a nice kitchen and an old Kiva fireplace in the traditional New Mexican style.
