Der Aufenthalt in Chathuras Gästehaus war sehr schön. Es war alles so wie beschrieben und er ist sehr freundlich. Er hat uns viele Tipps für fie Umgebung geben können und seine persönliche Tour war sehr interessant und hat Spaß gemacht. Er ist sehr zuvorkommend und man kann ihm immer schreiben, wenn man etwas braucht. Kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, gerne wieder!

Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe ein paar Tage in dieser Unterkunft in Mirissa verbracht. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Besonders die Lage ist hervorragend – ruhig, aber dennoch nah am Strand und ideal, um zu entspannen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft selbst hat Charme und bietet eine solide Basis, besonders für Alleinreisende. Allerdings ist die Inneneinrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vor allem das Badezimmer hätte eine Auffrischung nötig: Die Dusche war etwas heruntergekommen, der Duschkopf wirkte nicht mehr richtig sauber, und der Toilettendeckel war leider kaputt. Auch die Wände wirkten stellenweise beschmiert, und der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken sah ziemlich ranzig aus. Es wäre schön, wenn in Zukunft einige dieser Dinge erneuert oder saniert würden – das würde den Aufenthalt deutlich aufwerten. Trotz dieser kleineren Mängel habe ich mich wohlgefühlt und würde bei einer entsprechenden Renovierung gerne wiederkommen.

This is a wonderful place set up as a home away from home, perfect for long stays with all the amenities. The cold water dispenser, fresh fruit, bedside jewellery holder, daily housekeeping, and an amazing breakfast and clean up in the morning were just some of the unexpected extras which made the stay feel luxurious. The covered patio with a fan made even rainy days lovely. I can't recommend this little gem of a place enough. The crowning highlight is the absolutely stunning beach which is accessed directly through the courtyard garden via a small terrace with lounger chairs.

Our week at Ander’s bungalow was perfect, it’s beautifully designed and the view from the cliff is stunning. The kitchen is well stocked, bed is super comfortable and Loku was really helpful for anything we needed when we were there. Would 100% recommend- the perfect peaceful base to explore Weligama and other towns along the south coast.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay after a busy two week stay in Sri Lanka. Great staff who looked after us and made great recommendations for restaurants in Negombo. Loved the pool and gardens and view of the lake.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Cocomari-Villa. Die Villa ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und liegt perfekt an einem wenig besuchten Strandteil. Somit hat man den Strand quasi komplett für sich und hat einen direkten Zugang vom Grundstück aus. Ithquan war sehr hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns einen flexiblen Check-Out ermöglicht. Das einzige was man wissen muss ist, dass es nur in zwei der drei Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage gibt. Ansonsten können wir die Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. 😊

Мы провели здесь месяц – это почти идеальное место! Интернет идеальный для работы, в т.ч. с видеозвонками. Удобная кровать с новым матрасом. Ванная комната – восторг! Туалет и душ отделены друг от друга, а горячая вода – это действительно горячая вода в безлимитном количестве и с великолепным напором. На кухне есть все, кроме турки для приготовления кофе, но это мелочь. С собаками мы подружились и часто играли. Они действительно лают, но только когда кто-то приходит, что в нашем случае происходило очень редко. Хозяева – прекрасные люди, общаться по всем вопросам было легко и приятно. Между нашими и соседними апартаментами нет шумоизоляции за счет тонкой двери в смежной стене. Мы сняли и эти апартаменты тоже и использовали их как отдельный рабочий кабинет. Когда на виллу кто-то приезжает, слышно абсолютно все, что происходит на улице в любое время суток. В любом случае моя оценка 10 из 10, потому что все перечисленные плюсы с лихвой компенсируют несущественные недостатки. Спасибо!

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

Wow what a place! Everyone was so helpful at the TreeHouse; the breakfast we ordered was great and all the staff were so lovely and friendly. My kids didn’t leave them alone!! A really unique place to stay right in the treetops. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Dilan is really a great host. He helped us a lot even before arriving and responded to any questions we had. Very helpful, he arranged our transfers and motorbikes and helped us with everything, even brought us food. The villa was incredibly nice and clean, we love our stay in his place, we felt like home the entire time and I recommend it! ❤️

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

Gizelle was a super-host and actively helped us to plan a fortnight adventure in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 providing lots of tips and advice on what experiences and excursions there were, with an exquisite level of detail. We used many of her recommendations and were never disappointed. The villa manager and personal, professional chef Chaminda -was beyond attentive, always supporting and helping us with advice, and made the most AMAZING meals! We felt very spoilt and we loved the extensive range of meals and cuisines provided. A truly lovely and special man. All journeys and travel were arranged for us, and Kosala was an attentive driver for us, always telling us about the local attractions and sights with his extensive knowledge. The children adored him, and our son Leo would love to chat to him whilst he cleaned the pool. We came for my 40th bday where Chaminda decorated the villa for us and organised a cultural evening which was outstanding, and Gizelle even bought me a birthday cake 🥰Thank

What can I say but a fantastic place and staff. The location is beautiful and peaceful and quiet when needed. The views are stunning and honestly could have lived there. Lovely and cool with the aircon and fans and the most amazing wildlife. Shar and the team are amazing, responsive and very helpful even down to a 2am check in. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be returning as soon as much to see. There is insects, monkeys, cats and dogs and they all add to the ambience of the place. Thanks again Shar you and the team helped make this our best holiday yet. See you soon

Wunderschöne Unterkunft auf riesigem Privatgelände mit eigenem Strandzugang. Der Strand wirkt wie eine Privatbucht und während unserem Aufenthalt waren dort keine andere Menschen. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Für uns die beste Unterkunft, die wir bisher besuchen durften.

В доме хороший ремонт, близко к океану, пляж свободный. Хозяин быстро реагировал на вопросы, в последний день угостили вкусными блинчиками. Тем не менее, есть минусы. Волны действительно большие, в десятке минут ходьбы есть популярные пляжи с более спокойными волнами. Есть подводные течения, будьте аккуратны. Хозяин с семьей живет на втором этаже, будьте в курсе, если планируете шуметь по ночам. Дом стоит не прямо у пляжа, а в 10-15 метрах от него. В доме много муравьев, но это норма на этом побережье. В одной из комнат ночью слышно дорогу у дома.

This home, host and his family was our best thing in Weligama! Close to very calm and pretty beach, close to markets, centre, but more calm, no noises in the night, no smokes near..We stayed there for almost month and we were sad to leave. The host is super friendly, super helpful with every little thing. The best experience, better than we expected. We already miss this place and we know that we will come back next year! Would reccomend 100% to everyone!! ❤️ With all the love!

We had a lovely stay at Bala & Rudy’s. The care-taker made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They were very helpful and responsive, helped us with food and transportation as the location is not very near the happening Uppuveli beach. The neighbourhood is quiet and is close to Dutch bay beach and the station. It was a perfect stay for us as we’re wfh during this time.

Nilan's family were very lovely and welcoming. lots of love and care went into building the guesthouse and it's little garden. they were kind enough to involve us in their new year celebration.
