Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. Host was really sweet, the room was very clean and had a kitchenette with all essentials, there was a brilliant view from the room. She welcomed us with a local tropical juice, and also helped us source a scooter swiftly. I got a great night’s sleep after a long time here, it was really cozy and comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

Wir hatten das Glück, bei Damith in seiner idyllischen Blockhütte zu übernachten – eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Der Ort ist perfekt zum Entspannen inmitten der Natur. Damith war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Morgen bereitete er uns ein köstliches Frühstück zu, und zu einem Geburtstag organisierte er ein festliches Abendessen samt liebevoller Dekoration. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass wir in seinem Garten einen Baum pflanzen durften. Der große Garten bietet viel Platz, und Hund Romi sowie die Enten Black & White machten den Aufenthalt noch besonderer. Damith unterstützte uns beim Mieten eines Scooters und beim Geldwechsel. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in der Nähe. Die Anreise mit dem lokalen Bus war unkompliziert, von der Busstation zur Villa Ovita sind es nur 700 Meter. Ob zum Arbeiten mit stabilem Internet oder zum Entspannen – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank lieber Damith.

We highly recommend this apartment, it is even better than the photos! It is super clean and feels very spacious with comfortable sofas. It feels like such a large space with an upstairs bedroom and the large downstairs bedroom has an en suite. The pool is amazing, 100 % private and so lovely to be able to cool down and chill out. It is walking distance to local shops, markets and the fort. It is worth enquiring if they would consider a 2 night stay. Liaising with Dineru and meeting his Dad was a pleasure. They were so flexible on our departure and we really cannot thank them enough. Do not hesitate to book here, fantastic value.

Staying at Muditha's place was wonderful. The apartment is a little outside of the city center but can easily be reached by Tuktuk. There are a few local markets nearby, we found a grocery store and a local bakery with tasty snacks that can easily be reached by foot. It is surrounded by small temples and lots of greenery, which makes it a good location for peacefull strolls around the neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious and clean. There is no AC but there are fans in the bedrooms and since the location is a bit higher up, it's not too hot at night. The hosts were very honest and warm people. They gave us privacy but answered within minutes if we ever had a request. They even showed us their garden and let us say hello to the chickens 🥰 They helped us with our every need and even made sure we got on the local bus safely on the day of our departure. I would definitely recommend staying at this place if you are spending a few nights in Kandy!

Simply, it was our home for a short period of time. Everything was so perfect that we didn't even want to make a call to get clarification. Genuka is a very friendly person, and from the moment we placed the reservation, he was carefully concerned about what we wanted. And his father, who handed over the key to us, was also a very gentle and professional person who explained everything in the house clearly. The neighborhood is very relaxing, calm, and safe. There's a grocery store very close to the house where you can purchase almost all the things you need to cook (the house has a nice kitchen that includes all the related items to make your own meals). And the Galenigama highway interchange is much closer, so you can access most of the places very quickly. So Genuka's property is highly recommended; it is a nice, clean, safe, and calm place to relax and achieve your requirements closer to the main cities. Good Luck! 

We had a lovely stay here! Such a clean apartment, and so nice to have the pool and gym on site. Our host was so friendly and always answered our questions quickly! She also got us all a little gift each, which was so sweet of her❤️ couldn’t recommend this place enough.
