Our Menlo Park home is walking/biking distance from Stanford and offers tons of privacy, tranquility and comfort for business professionals or anyone coming to visit Stanford! The main sleeping area is downstairs with all new linens plus an upstairs loft area with two twin beds. Families or co-workers can comfortably stay here! We are close to major Silicon Valley destinations; 30 minutes from San Francisco, San Jose and the beach in Half Moon Bay —with easy access to Highways 101 and 280, as well as public transportation (SamTrans, Caltrain and BART via Caltrain). Our quiet street is an easy 5-minute walk (0.2 mi) from downtown San Carlos with shops and literally dozens of restaurants.

Peaceful Master Suite perfect for You

This is our serene master suite upstairs in our house in the Evergreen neighborhood, perfect for short term or long term stays. Side entrance leads to private kitchenette, and upstairs is the private loft, master room, bathroom. no stove, fireplace, laundry, or dishwasher but pretty much everything else you may think of. Stanford university, Cal Ave dining, Evergreen Park, and The Cal Train station are all literally within a 7 minute walk from here (along with a laundromat, gas station).

Gorgeous, comfortable two bedroom Suite

Our light-filled lower level suite has been fully remodeled (completed Feb 2019) and includes two bedrooms (up to 4 Queen beds), a large media room with a fold-out couch bed, and one full bathroom. Total space is approximately 1000 square feet with a private entrance. Amenities include all the perks of our media room and a kitchenette. We wash all linens included Duvet covers between guests. Please see below for Coronavirus precautions we are taking to ensure complete safety for guests.

Apartment has private entrance (self check-in), private bathroom, queen bed, desk, dresser, and kitchenette (fridge, microwave, electric kettle, Keurig, drip coffee maker, dishes, utensils). I can provide access to a full kitchen by prior arrangement. Apartment has ample storage (full walk-in closet) making extended visits very comfortable. For visits over 1 week, washer and dryer may be used. Location is walking distance to downtown Palo Alto, Stanford, Caltrain, and the bus hub.

The cottage is nestled in the rear of our backyard, detached from the main house.
