Shekinah Hermitage: Peace at the Forest’s Edge

Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

Time Capsule is a unique experience in an space age module dropped in the middle of an 11 acres desert sanctuary and sculpture park, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
