Ringaringa Beach Cottage, comfortable whole house

Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. Situated less than 7 minutes from the Invercargill Airport, nestled atop a hill is a view to Welcome you after a day or two of travelling. Relax here while you enjoy views of the Mountain Ranges of Stewart Island to the Oreti River and what I call “The Highlands of Matua”. We are 4 minutes drive to Oreti Beach. Walking tracks, Golf Course, Restaurants, (Ziffs & Cabbage Tree). The Local 4 Square, Rowing and Biking tracks is right at your door step. This is the Home of Burt Munro.

Waterfront Cottage is a beautifully restored 1920s 3-bedroom bungalow 25 metres from the ocean. The cottage has just undergone a full update including double glazing, new carpets and a new heat pump insuring a warm comfortable stay regardless of the weather. There is high speed fibre internet that can be boosted to over 1000mbs if required for work stays and a 50inch TV in the lounge area. Both the master bedroom and the lounge feature unobstructed views out over the water.
