Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

I am excited to invite you to our newly refurbished self-contained and eco-friendly ground-floor apartment, located just a five-minute walk from the train station as well as the cafes, bars and restaurants of Stroud. Our place is perfect for couples or friends or those on a business trip. Cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are within a five-minute walk. Stroud's award-winning market is every Saturday. The apartment is contained within our house and shares a front door with the main house.

Cosy Cotswolds Cottage

Step back in time with this cosy grade 2 listed 17th century Cotswold cottage. Nestled in historic Old Stroud, local legend has it that two brothers shared the bigger house but needed separate homes when one of them married, so Corner Cottage and 2 Trinity Road were born. Packed with original features, stone walls, oak beams and wonky elm wooden floorboards, Corner Cottage oozes old world charm. A Grade II listed 2-bedroom cottage, in a charming Cotswolds area, steeped in history and character, with original windows, traditional flagstone flooring, stone walls, oak beams and a fireplace. All rooms have lovely little window seats. Enjoy your own orchard at the end of the garden, perfect for a BBQ or picnic. The Cottage also includes free off-street parking. We love the local walks, views and the quintessential little Cotswolds high street only minutes walk from the cottage.

The Snug - central village location in Cotswolds

The Snug is a charming stone cottage resting centrally in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire with a cosy gas fire, sleeping two people in one bedroom with a king-size bed. 1 medium sized dog welcome. If you are looking for an escape to the Cotswolds with lots of character, choose The Snug. Within a short walk you will find two wonderful coffee shops, a butcher, post office, convenience store and a great pub. Free onstreet parking is easy to find and just a short distance up the road.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

Our idyllic cottage is set on the edge of Minchinhampton Common (located in an AONB) and with miles of footpaths which are perfect for those wishing to explore the Cotswolds. This beautiful cottage exudes an aura of peace and tranquillity and a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life.

Stroud is home to the award-winning Stroud Farmers’ Market and has a fantastic selection of independent shops, cafés and galleries. 15 minutes from the M5 which goes north to Cheltenham & Gloucester, or south to Bristol.
