Just a short stroll to the beach, cafes, and shops, with walking and biking tracks nearby—including the stunning Abel Tasman National Park—this is truly a dreamy coastal escape.

Birdsong Cottage is a small self-contained house in a private and organic forest-garden oasis. Wake to an abundance of birdlife and an inspiring dawn chorus. Enjoy a 5 minute walk to Collingwood’s Courthouse cafe, art studios, and long sandy beach. Ideal for a restful and creative retreat, or as a base to explore Golden Bay’s famous wilderness tracks and beaches. Studio is in the middle of a farm area, away from main road, self contained unit offers a peaceful, spacious, relaxed stay. 1.6k from Takaka township, close to cafes, bars and shops. 10k to Pohara Beach. Studio unit has an accessibility ramp, wet floor bathroom and queen bed . A lovely covered deck area offers a place to relax and barbecue Tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided on arrival. (Breakfast not included) small kitchenette with a variety of cooking appliances .
