Great home to stay in with a family. Lots of kid friendly amenities. Walking to great cafes and delicious restaurants as well as a park. Love the hot tube and deck decor - truly a great place to lounge and relax.

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

We arrived very late our first night and could night find liquid soap for our showers. I texted the host and he said it would be outside our door in a few minutes and sure enough there it was! Home was absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous pool and hot tub! Everything was spotless and bathrooms pristine. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

Had a weeklong stay and enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, the neighborhood was peaceful and quite and a neighborhood market directly across the street. There was a small park two blocks from the house, perfect walking distance with lots of restaurants, an ice cream shop and a local brewery. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all messages. Would definitely recommend this home to any of my friends and will be my go to on my next trip to San Diego.

This house is a hidden gem. Vi had everything you could ever need in all areas of the house. The kitchen had every appliance, air fryer, rice cooker, ect that anyone would need. Had a ton of toys inside and outside for the kids to play with besides pack-n-play x2, high chair, baby gates, ect. Vi was always super responsive. The washer broke and she had someone out the next day and she said if they couldn't fix it, she would take our laundry and wash it herself!! Super clean, pool was warm, had a fruit plate and smores waiting for us as well as candy. We are already looking at dates to book again!

Jesus' property was clean, gorgeous, and perfect for our family of four. Our children loved the putting green, swimming pool, tv's, and arcade games while the adults were excited about the hot tub and the other backyard features such as the lounge chairs, ample umbrellas for shade, the firepit, the grill (which we didn't use, but was available), the outdoor fridge and sink, and the beautiful hillside view! We also loved all of the seating options throughout the house and the decorative fireplace. There were so many beds that we could have brought more guests! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked in case you forgot anything from a toothbrush to hair ties! The master bathroom was smaller than the other bathroom, but still well decorated. There was also a washer and dryer, which came in handy. Finally, there was also a garage for your car. Jesus was quick to respond to any of our questions and requests. He was friendly and had some great local recommendations. We loved our stay!

Mihn was a great host and very communicative before check-in and on check-out. The guest house was as described: clean, quiet, and convenient to many great local places. Would definitely recommend this place.

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

We really enjoyed our stay and the wonderful amenities and quiet neighborhood. The main bed was king-sized, which was perfect, and they had a pack n play for our daughter as well.

We booked Suan and Jessica's place for Easter weekend. We had planned a trip to the Flower Gardens and Legoland in Carlsbad, both of which were less than 20 minutes away from where we were staying. Not only was the place conveniently located, it offered us a spot to enjoy our family's company and dedicate our time to our grandaughter. We barbecued, watched movies, swam in swimming pool, did our own arts and crafts, etc. We had an overall amazing time at a reasonable price without the chaos and limitations of booking a hotel room. We would definitely book this place in the future if we are in the area.

I highly recommend it! Richard was a great host, I had my family visiting from Italy stay at his place. There are two comfortable bedrooms, a really cute kitchen and a living room. One bathroom. The place is a but old, but there was everything they needed and it is well maintained. Also well cleaned. My favorite part was how communicative and responsive Richard was.

The proactive communication messages were extremely useful! I believe these have been set up to be automated which I completely appreciate. The house is extremely clean and had everything we needed. The furniture is well worn but very comfortable. A great place for a family. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood and very convenient for both downtown San Diego and hiking in the northern areas by La Jolla. Everything seemed to be 20 minutes away (unless it was rush hour). Definitely would be back!

This is a great place to stay; loved the deck where in nice weather one could eat outdoors, great views, bright due to large sliding doors in the rooms, liked 3 bathrooms as there were 3 couples, Jamie was helpful whenever we had a question, the place was very clean and new looking, we would happily stay again!!

Great spaces for family to hang out together and separately too. Very well appointed. Loved the deck and the hot tub! Thanks Helen. We will book again sometime.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight—serene, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped. The value for the price was definitely worth it, and we'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

Wish I knew before hand that people are living on property. Found out morning of check in. It was a bit weird in the morning and afternoon to have them right outside my window picking flowers. Kind of felt like I was being watched. Leah WAS FANTASTIC to work with. Very responsible and VERY KIND with a late Easter check out, which was incredibly helpful. Beautiful property, I wish we had more time to spend at property to really enjoy it. I would definitely stay again.
