The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Relax in the outdoor bath and enjoy the simplicity of living off grid without lacking to many home comforts. Toilet is detached.

Cosy Cottage Kakaramea

This peaceful hideaway/small farm stay 🐓🐑🐄 is set back off the road (350 meter drive) in rural Waikato, located on the outskirts of Hamilton where pets are welcome. AC and Starlink We are within a 50min drive of Hobbiton, Glow worm caves, Kiwi House, Bush walks and Raglan and more. The LDS Temple is an 8 min Drive. WIFI, Netflix, Disney plus and air conditioning are available. We also provide basics for breakfast. The additional Queen size couch/bed is only available to groups of 3 or4.

The Potter’s Pad

Beautifully furnished and full of unique handmade pottery, relax in our hammock chairs and soak up the sunset by the outdoor fire pit Talk to the horses while you listen to the nearby stream and birdlife instead of traffic, although only a two minute drive in to Pirongia Village

Handy to Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek (20 minute drive) and attractions Hamilton Gardens and Waitomo Caves (30 minutes), and Hobbiton (1 hour)

Fleetwood Mack Housetruck in Pirongia

Stay in a Housetruck built from recycled/reused materials on the back of a Mack Truck. A Queen bed in the front loft and one single bed in the back. The Housetruck has basic kitchen facilities. Jug, toaster, fridge and microwave. A shower inside the truck, it runs from a califont so is set to one temperature using one tap. Please note that the toilet is located in a separate building about ten steps away along with the washing machine. You have unlimited private access to these.

Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Feel free to wave out to them if they drive past in their tractors.

Your accommodation is a relaxing, guest suite separate from the main house. We are located in a peaceful rural setting in Ngahinapouri, just off State Highway 39. 15min drive to/from Hamilton Airport and Hamilton City, Mystery Creek 20min, Te Awamutu 15min, 10min to Pirongia Village and 40min to Waitomo Caves and the Raglan Coast Also on our doorstep is Pirongia Mountain with its walking tracks, Ngahinapouri Golf Course 5min away and the renowned Villagrad Winery only 10min away.

Box on the Hill

Box on the Hill is a quiet couples retreat, just 20 min outside of Raglan. From your unit you have vast views of the beautiful Waitetuna Valley, looking out to Mount Pirongia. Couples stay a night, a weekend or chose to elope here. The space is light filled and opens up to your own private garden and outdoor seating. The unit is modern and open plan. It has a comfy queen bed, kitchenette (no stove), bbq, ensuite bathroom and lounge space. Relax with an unplugged stay (no wifi).

Pirongia Mountain Getaway

Apartment is adjacent to my house on Pirongia Mountain. I'm 20 min from Te Awamutu, 30 min to Hamilton , 40 min to Waitomo Caves, Lake Karapiro or Raglan, 1 hr to Hobbiton & 25 min to Mystery Creek for Field Days. Queen-size bed accommodates up to 2 people. Beautiful views across the area & close access to many local tramping options. Solar-powered apartment is in excellent shape with a kitchen covered with all the basics. Heat pump, wifi & tv (freeview) provided.

Country retreat

Take a break from the city and relax. Situated on the side of Mount Pirongia, this is an ideal getaway for a lazy weekend. Located only 30 minutes drive from Hamilton and 40 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Raglan or Zeelong tea estate there is plenty to explore. Closer to home, and with the tramping tracks of Mount Pirongia on the doorstep, the location is ideal for those wanting a little luxury as they explore the mountain.

Walk to Lake, Hospital & CBD – Prime Location

Lemon Tree Cottage is a comfy spot just a minute’s walk from the hospital and close to the lake and CBD. You can chill out in the bright living room, cook in the full kitchen, and you can get a good night’s sleep in air-conditioned bedrooms. Take peaceful walks by the lake or you can relax in the garden. And the best part? For every night you stay, we donate $10 to help treat the awesome NICU staff to lunch at the hospital.
