Originally built in 1885, this cozy little place is located just off the historic town square in downtown Tellico Plains and is within walking distance of the Tellico Grains Bakery, Charles Hall Museum and Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center. Mateo 39C at Nantahala Weddings & Events - no pets

The Mateos (named after our architect’s little son) are 4 small bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, 4.4 cu. ft. refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two people. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible. Pets are never allowed in 39C – this is a pet-free space ($200 penalty).

The cottage at Acqua Dolce is an adorable studio located just behind our 1827 home in the historic district of Sweetwater. Our 3 acre property is wooded with many magnificent trees and a small creek making it a park-like setting while being in town. Great for visitors of all types with easy access to shopping, hiking, white water rafting, fishing and much more. We are near many destinations including, The Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, The Lost Sea and numerous wineries .

On the connected entrance platform, there is half bathroom, with access to showers and an additional bathroom at our bathhouse facility.
