In the main living/sleeping area there is a queen-sized bed, table for dining and a sofa bed. There are pull-out insect screens one door and a window.

The Lookout

The Lookout is a stand alone guest cabin located on an elevated private 10 acre property just 5 minutes drive to Cooks Beach. Situated next to regenerating bush, it offers views through to Mercury Bay Winery, the Purangi Estuary & beyond to Mercury Bay itself. Entirely self contained, The Lookout is lined with warm natural timbers and has a comfortable queen size bed. It also has a private deck area perfect for morning coffees, BBQs, stargazing and bird watching.

Kuaotunu Skyline is a located at the top of Blackjack Rd on our family farm. It is a 20minute drive north of Whitianga and just a 5min drive to Lukes Kitchen, Kua Kawhe Café and Kuaotunu Store. Named Kuaotunu Skyline since we call the top of the farm the Skyline because of the spectacular views of ocean and sky. Fantastic spot for a relaxing holiday. Drenched in sun and sheltered from the wind. Most of the time is spent with the doors from the lounge wide open enjoying the outdoor furniture on the covered deck, or cooking in the bamboo BBQ hut, hanging about in the hammock or lazing at the beautiful Hahei beach. Be sure to make the most of the outdoor solar heated shower when you return from the beach. Tucked away in the garden, it's a real hit.
