Excellent and comfortable place to stay, highly recommend.

Excellent location close to town, easy walking distance to everything. We loved having a fire to warm ourselves after tramping for several days. Beautiful garden, spacious and relaxing kitchen/dining/lounge. Top notch AirBnB.

Perfect place in Te anau. Very clean and neat. You can approach to the restaurant and grocery store by walk. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need. And it also has a wonderful view.

We had a funeral to attend and it's associated social events. We were able to arrive way later than expected due top Air NZ's efforts to cope with the weather disrupting intended flights. A phone call to Richelle, who was out of the area at the time, kept her informed of our changed plans and she arranged for the cottage to be dusted above and beyond the norm as my wife suffers from dust and smell allergies, and the heating and lights were on so that when we did arrive it was totally welcoming and supportive. My wife did fine the smell of the diffuser to much but that was easily remedied. I found poerating the key lock box a little difficult and, sadly left it with the outside cover dangling from one corner. My apologies. I was unable to relock the front door key in its box but left it on the internal hook. Again, apologies and I hope you found it ok. We loved staying there and will recommend it to anyone of our friends or family intending to visit the area. Thank you, Richelle and Tea

The view!!! Oh my goodness, 2 large windows in the lounge/dining looking out to the ocean and big sky...it was mesmerising! This was a highlight and added to the whole relaxing experience. Large house with heaps of space. And quiet?...so peaceful you don't even hear cars passing. Thank you Penny for the lovely stay. I hope I have the opportunity again sometime. 😊

Fantastic place to stay with a family! great walking distance to beach, toys for kids to play with and lots of space for everyone!

This is an older home with the quirky features of one, but most importantly it was CLEAN! The linens clean and fresh, kitchen and the rest of the home as well. Lots of room to spread out, lots of wood to keep us warm, many games, books and magazines. The puzzle coffee table was great and the evening found the family gathered around it. Location was good view o and close to the water. Highly recommend.

Secluded Yet So Close – Perfect Getaway! Our stay at Krissy’s place was absolutely wonderful. It truly felt like a hidden gem - secluded and peaceful, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, yet still conveniently close to town and the beach. We loved the tranquility of the location, and it was the ideal spot to come back to relax and unwind. The space was beautifully designed, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Krissy was an exceptional host, always responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect experience.
