Fantastic stay for secluded rest/relaxing with amazing views. Woodland walks from the doorstep great for walking the dog and the longer recommended walk over to Tintern. Kids also loved the rope swing! Many thanks

Had a fantastic stay, it was comfortable, clean and cosy, with eveything you needed and more for a lovely night away. Loved the hot tub! The nearby town within 10 min walk has great restaurants/pubs. Would absolutely stay here again!

Home from home, with plenty of kitchen ware and utensils that we used to make family meals, enjoyed at the family dining table with an amazing view of the valley. Comfortable beds, sofas and facilities. The outdoor area was lots of fun for the whole family with beautiful views from the hot tub and BBQ. Surrounded by open spaces and the tennis court for the kids to go and explore. Ivan had thought of everything for a relaxing holiday. Having Symonds Yat on our doorstep, there was plenty of entertainment and adventures to enjoy as a family. Thoroughly recommend.

Went for a little girls night away and had the best time! Will definately be back. So peaceful the hot tub was devine had no problems with it, had everything you needed in the airbnb, had a welcome cake which was delicious. Highly recommend Ounce at the Dolphin for a great steak, Rise and Grind is a lovely breakfast spot too both only 10 mins away in the car. And the local dog that lives near, Howard, is adorable and the goodest most gentle doggo! Thoroughly enjoyed some pets :)

In a word - Fantastic!! Kelly is a great host and was happy to accommodate a change in date due to a sudden illness. Once we’d rearranged everything worked out well. The location backs right onto a forest - literally! Harvey the dog was in his element with the smells and sounds and deer and everything, and even the 15 year stroppy daughter enjoyed the walks and the hot tub! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. A minor was finding it in the first place, but look for a telegraph pole, red telephone box ☎️ and a small red post box all together and if you turn there you’ll have found it. Thanks Kelly - Fabulous!!

We had a really lovely 3 night break away. Having the hot tub and leisure passes were a great bonus and meant we could relax without going far. Tracey was really responsive and we will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous time for my partner's 40th treat. The cabin had everything we needed, was peaceful and comfy for a 2 night stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely surroundings, plus a hearty walk to Yate and back on the Frome Valley Walkway. Amy was super responsive throughout, thoroughly recommend!

Cannot recommend this cabin stay enough! Its location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. The cabin was an excellent size for two adults and our dog (Hungarian vizsla) and had everything we needed! The enclosed spaces were a brilliant size for running around with our dog and we felt very comfortable with our dog off lead in them! Also the natural beauty in the enclosed spaces and surrounding the property is beautiful to be inamoungst Inside the cabin felt so much bigger than it looked, there were plenty of utensils for cooking breakfast and preparing our lunches, and overall everything had a lovely cosy cabin feeling, in particular the duvet was lovely and cosy in the night! Duncan and Jacqui were super friendly, they welcomed us at arrival and came to say goodbye at the end, but also left us to enjoy the cabin in the meantime, we really felt welcome at their place! The thoughtful touches from Duncan and Jacqui were the icing on the cake for a fantastic getaway!

This Airbnb experience was one of the best we’ve ever had. From start to finish Belinda was really responsive and helped us out when needed. We really appreciated the flexible check in/out times given the purpose of our stay. The lodge is absolutely perfect for dogs, so safe and lots of room for them to roam with peace of mind. It’s super private and peaceful. The facilities were above and beyond and we really appreciated the extra touches - eggs, milk, butter, bread, jams etc as well as a chest full of goodies, blankets, towels etc for the dog. Would highly recommend this Airbnb to others and would love to return if in the area again :)

Esme was very helpful from the get go, she helped me prepare for a surprise bday trip with balloons and flowers, Esme even contributed with a personal card on her behalf. The wine tasting was really good too! And allowed us to BBQ (bonus) we will definitely return here!

This is an ideal place to stay for families and small groups to get together. In peaceful location and private grounds. The lodges are very clean and have everything you need for a weekend or week away from home. Would definitely use again and will recommend highly.

Beautiful surroundings and a very peaceful location. A lovely cabin, with dog friendly outside space. The Christmas tree forest was very cute to wonder through and have right outside the cabin. Clint was very responsive to a couple of queries I had and was very happy to help, so thank you! We would definitely stay again and hope to be back some day soon :)

Lavender lodge was the perfect getaway for a quiet NYE. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed its surroundings and amenities. It was easy to access with additional directions from Alison prior to arrival. Thank you Alison.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful, private, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a perfect little escape. Maureen was so attentive and helpful throughout, making us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

We had a lovely stay at Snipe's Snug! Really spacious and location was incredible. Very clean and well maintained space, we would definitely come back!

The lodge was great. Hot tub was awesome too. We struggled to find the place because we didn’t get there till late, and it’s very much in the middle of nowhere (which we liked). But the host was extremely helpful and responsive, and helped us find our way within 5 minutes of messaging. WiFi was decent and the place had everything we needed. The area is beautiful, just wish we could’ve stayed longer. And the kids kept saying they wanted to go back to the “holiday home”. Definitely recommend

This was perfect for our weekend away. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The neighbours were fantastic and very friendly and loved a scratch on thier head and a rich tea biscuit or two. Did I mention they were sheep. Helen was amazing and even messaged to apologise about a lamb was wasn't even a week old being loud but we never heard a thing. 100% will be back and fully recommend for those that want to relax but still be around a town.

Another excellent and comfortable stay at Sandys cabin! As my previous review, the bed is the real selling point! The cabin location is also very peaceful and parking easy to find outside! Great location for when I go to Glenside for my uni course :) Sandy also a great host, making sure everything you need is available

My daughter stayed here as we were attending a wedding locally and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect setting to start December and the lodge was warm, cosy and very clean. Hosts were very welcoming as were the reindeer. Thoughtful gifts of mugs and wine. Hoping we can book again soon.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Avon Lodge! The lodge was in an amazing location, the open space outside the lodge was perfect for walking our dogs before heading out for the day! And what a lovely view to sit and have breakfast too. Lovely local pubs, we had a fab meal at The Bell Inn, great pub food! Lots of nice walks on your doorstep too. Would definitely recommend as the lodge was spotless and beautifully furnished. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Used the hut for a lovely girls weekend, the space was just right with a lovely hot tub. The view was incredible and there were lots of local things to do. If you are looking for a quiet secluded weekend away to treat yourself then this is the place!
