The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. I will be in the local area and always on hand if you have a question or an issue. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Lovely Guest Suite in Central Edinburgh

Beautifully furnished one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location and within walking distance of most tourist attractions - also a good bus service is nearby. The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.

The flat itself is a ground floor flat lay out over 2 levels. 2 spacious bedrooms, one has its own en-suite shower room. The shopping and entertainment area around Princes Street and George Street is ideally situated approximately half a mile away and provides a huge array of retail outlets, supermarkets, restaurants, clubs and bars.

The Historic Dalkeith Water Tower

The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

Stay in two king-bed rooms and one double bedroom of a boutique hotel, except that, located on a cobble-stone lane in New Town, this is no hotel! Rooms are quiet and bright with natural light and views Under 3 minutes' walk are Michelin-restaurant and award-winning pubs, and at a 10-minute walk, the train station (direct airport links/trams bring you even closer!) Around the corner is a children's playground; options for luggage storage are 3 min to walk to!

Situated just off the Royal Mile on Cockburn St. Great for access to all festival venues, five minutes walk from Waverley train station. A modern clean flat in a traditional tenement, this cozy space has the best of both worlds. Wifi, TV etc and featured in the cult movie 'Hallam Foe'! Please note that during August I am looking for bookings of five days or more.
