The charm of the Hideaway is the quiet, remote location. The views are spectacular! The beach is very private with lounge chairs and a pergola - we were the only ones there! The open-air dining area is spacious and we loved being able to look out at sea while eating. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor shower was a cool experience. The kitchen had all we needed to make simple meals, including a blender for frozen island drinks. :-) Filtered water and an ice-maker in the fridge were key. Libby was a great host - very communicative, helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We did end up renting a Jeep since it is a bit far from from Great Harbour and the roads are very steep, but Foxy's Taboo is a short 1-mile walk down the road and their food is excellent. I do recommend bringing some provisions with you so you don't have to make the trek back to town because once you're there, you won't want to leave!

We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and private this home was considering its proximity to restaurants and the main thoroughfare in Coral Bay! It was so convenient for us to get to all the beaches we love to snorkel at AND the very best dinners were at Sharky’s right outside our front gate!! So we did not have to drive to dinner most nights!! We could walk to Crabby’s, practically next door for snorkel rentals. There is also a small market right behind Crabby’s. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately as Jose was living on the premises. We only saw him when we needed help with something. Only concern for Seniors is the winding stairwell to go upstairs to bedrooms and main bathroom. Fortunately, there is a first floor bathroom and shower we also really appreciated being Seniors ourselves!! We LOVED the screened porch surrounding the home and the small pool was refreshing after a snorkel. There is a hose for cleaning sand off everything by the pool.

Colleen’s place was wonderful!! Staying on the Coral Bay side of the island was a nice change of pace for us. The house was secluded and quiet. The flowers, fruit trees, birds and lizards added to the beauty. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner in a few nights. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax in the evenings. The beach chairs and cooler were an added bonus. The location was great, we enjoyed getting to the East End beaches easily but also being close to our favorite beach, Maho. It was also nice being so close to the Love City market grocery store. Colleen’s place was the perfect place for our family of 4!! Thank you!!

We were lucky enough to find this listing after being very unhappy with our first airbnb. The view was incredible. The 2nd floor unit was immaculate when we arrived. There was an issue with the refrigerator when we arrived due to the power outages that day(not the property's fault at all), and Brenda had a brand new fridge at the property within an hour. The bedroom area was huge, and the king-sized mattress was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very nice and well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals. There is a coffee pot, a kureg, and a blender. The bathroom and shower were very clean with excellent water pressure and consistent hot water. The gas/charcoal grill on the deck was a huge bonus!! The hot tub was a fantastic way to wind down at the end of the day. We will definitely try to book this property again when we return to St John. This property literally saved our vacation. Villa Dal Mare was a perfect spot for our adult family trip to St John! You have a great porch to sit and watch the sunrise over Coral Bay each morning! The house is surrounded by beautiful floral landscaping, so we saw deer, iguanas, and hummingbirds all around us. It is a steep, curvy road up to the house, but fully paved. We loved our stay!

Our family of four, with two teens truly enjoyed this beautiful property during our stay in St. John. The Villa is the perfect spot with a stunning view of Coral Bay. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the villa and all the ammenities. The outdoor patio and pool were our favorite places to hang out. There was plenty of space to gather as a family and also have some much needed personal space. Everything was amazing, from the communication from John, and his two property managers we had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay. I highly recommend Blue Palm Villa!

Gorgeous villa…even nicer than the pictures. The pool and outside area were fantastic. So nice to sit outside and relax while listening to the waves. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the option to have groceries delivered was so helpful. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean. We did lots of beach hopping and really enjoyed being so close to Smuggler’s cove. If we ever find ourselves back in Tortola we’ll be back!

We loved staying at Flambouyant house in Guavaberry! Awesome ladies running the place - very informative and helpful! Beautiful private beach and awesome location.
