Inexplicably quaint artisan bakery & café. Be sure to get there early. With a limited rotating baking schedule, and prominent restaurants & shops picking up their early morning allotments, early birds are rewarded with the worm at this Downtown Roanoke diamond.

Best parfait in town -- yogurt made in house. Simple breakfast menu but delicious. Huge, high-quality salads for a great price.

Artisan breads and yummy pastries. Also good selection of sandwiches and salads to enjoy on the renovated warehouse premises (plenty of interior seating) or take out. Excellent value. I love the smoked salmon sandwich (or added to a salad), french onion soup, miche sourdough!
