You can prebook tickets to go here, its also dog friendly. You can get lost in all the amazing beautiful areas within The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is enough here to keep all the family busy for a good few hours. With activities along the way.

Sister of Eden Project, beautiful gardens, Like something out of a fairytale, these hidden gardens have an amazing story behind them. Twenty-nine years ago, Heligan’s historic gardens were hidden under overgrown brambles. It was only the chance discovery of a door in the ruins that led to the restoration of this beautiful estate. They are now some of the finest gardens in the country, and a joy to explore with children. One of the best outdoor things to do in Cornwall with the kids.

Heligan is one of the most mysterious estates in England. Lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WW1, this Sleeping Beauty was re-awakened in 1990 to become Europe’s largest garden restoration project. Today Heligan’s 200 acres are a paradise for the explorer, wildlife, plant lover and garden romantic. Great for all the family!

A must see venue. Go on a dry day and book in advance as it can get busy. Allow plenty of time to explore as there is a lot to see. Cafe / restaurant onsite.
